Rip off do not use them

I booked a hotel in Accra, Ghana, the listed price was $305, however, when I got the final charge they had charged me $479.44 with a whopping $105 service fee and other taxes which are not applicable, absolutely no indication of any of these charges until it was billed to my credit card and when I tried to cancel it just said it is non refundable even though the hotel itself said there rooms are refundable. The worse thing is they made it look like I was booking direct with the hotel.Complete rip off, do not use this website to book, as others say massive booking fees which are not even mentioned until it's too late.

I booked a hotel through Guest

I booked a hotel through Guest Reservations, but I was charged significantly more than the amount originally stated. I attempted to cancel the payment before it was processed, but the charge still went through—despite the fact that I never confirmed the transaction.I will contact the authorities, as this kind of Checkout Process is not legal in Europe.

Basically scam old folks with a deceptive business practice

Basically scam old folks with a deceptive journey that starts with them securing the top site on a Google advert. They aggressively target their advertising to direct towards the right age category and know exactly what they're doing. If we weren't living in a post-capitalist hellscape where cretins like this are allowed to get away with this, it wouldn't exist. Educate your families and deny these crooks all the cash you can.

it’s a trap / scam with the lousiest after sale

Wanted to book 1 night in Amsterdam and by accident booked two nights. When calling twice within the 30 minutes after booking, to get customer service to set this right, the sales clerks instead tried to book me another night, instead of being proactive / understandable. Both nights were not refundable and the customer service doesn’t exist at all, as you get transferred to a tape. They are using a dirty trick of pushing people in to book in a certain time span, with a low price offered on their website (which was very similar to the one of the hotel where I wanted to book). Eventually they charged double/ night on what they offered in the time span. Additionally we need to pay an extra fee when upon arriving at the hotel. This company is ‘how conveniently’ not on Google, as the ratings would be as awful as this one. Horrible company and a true scam!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. The site looks like you get to the site of the hotel (name of the hotel you seek in front of the name of this company), but that's not the case. They charge a quite unexpected exorbitant extra fee, which you do not see before your creditcard is charged. In my case, the hotel (one night) cost ca 179 Euros, and the unexpected extra was ca 90 (!!) Euros. This was - according to the company - a 'tax recovery' and 'service fee', including i.a. 'cleaning fees' or 'resort fees'... I have asked to get back this extra fee but have not heard a word. Update: after complaining I got half the fee back. However, I do not change my rating, since it should not be necessary to post a negative review before getting some of the extreme rate back. Moreover, the reason they gave for the fee, is false: They said they have to pay the hotel for i.a. cleaning. This is not true: The hotel had never heard of this company....

No way to contact this company. Please use email below

This company is a scam avoid at all costs. Their call line disconnects and they don't have a customer service centre. We tried to book a hotel through them, we wanted one night, they added a second night and charged us. We couldn't contact anyone to change it and when we canceled, they still charged us. We contacted the hotel who waived all charges but Guest services, also called Hotel Beds still charged our card. Literally every email we tried bounced back, every phone number we called disconnected us. DO NOT USE!!Edit: I have contacted Guest Services using the email supplied and providing all requested info. If there is any satisfaction I will update.Update: I did receive a full refund. It took months, but they came through. changing my review however because of the difficulties in contacting them, it will remain low.

SCAM/FRAUD - Avoid!!! Settled with FTC in 2017 for fraud and has not stopped

Made a reservation for 4 nights in a London hotel costing a total of 1572. The site added unexplained additional charges of 1150. Making the total bill over 2700. A cancellation fee of 1900 was added to this. None of these charges were explained prior to paying with the credit card - see below for similar experiences. Buyer beware. Expensive mistake! The site appears first on the search engines and looks like the hotel webpage - do check that it is in fact the hotel's website where you are booking.Upon further investigation I called the hotel and they told me that the booking have been done through Booking.com! Not even directly with the hotel. Whilst the hotel and Booking.com were willing to provide a full refund on the booking, Guest Reservations would only allow the refund if I paid the 1,900 cancellation fee. In other words they would take 1,900 from me even though they would not be out of pocket! This of course was not an option as I would still have to pay for the hotel on top of the cancellation fee. Whilst the hotel and Booking.com tried to do the right thing, GUESTRESERVATIONS.COM will ensure that there is no escape.Don’t be fooled, called 6 times to have the issue resolved to no avail. The site has responded below and provided their customer 'care' email address supposedly to try to resolve the issue. Let's see if they actually do the right thing... For the time being AVOID like the plague. Checked the site for fraud and lo and behold they have had to settle with the FTC in 2017 - I wish I had checked sooner. I hope this review helps others to avoid my faith. I may have lost my money but I don't want others to unwittingly fall into the same trap.

AVOID Guest Reservations – Unreliable, Overpriced, and Adds ZERO Value

I am writing this review to strongly warn you against using Guest Reservations. My experience with this platform has been nothing short of appalling, and I urge everyone to book directly with the hotel instead.I made a booking through Guest Reservations in good faith, expecting a professional service and not aware it was not related to the hotel directly but a 3rd party that seemed to offer better pricing but late in the process added ridiculous extra fees, for adding no value at all. What I got was an overpriced and completely useless middleman. They charged exorbitant fees for absolutely no added value—no customer service, no flexibility, and no real support. I later realized the same hotel was much cheaper to book directly. When I contacted them about the unreasonable fees, I was given a generic and irrelevant response about their agreements with hotels and taxes—things that have nothing to do with me as a customer. Their only offer was to refund a pathetic 10% (a few euros) on a €90 booking. Completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, they never addressed the core issue: why am I paying inflated prices for a service that offers literally nothing in return? This company operates on misleading practices popping up while I as customer am under the impression I still booking directly with a lower offered fee. This I would describe as bordering on fraudulent. They try to appear like the hotel’s own booking site but are in fact a third-party service offering worse rates and no help. So, do yourself a favor: Always book directly with the hotel. Guest Reservations is an expensive mistake that I will never make again. I hope this review helps others avoid the same trap.

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. It pays to be put at the top of Google search results as a 'sponsored' result so that you think you're clicking on your hotel's website, but you are actually entering their scam website. Their website is built to look like a hotel website, so I didn't question it immediately. At checkout they added an absurd $250 in 'fees' on top of my hotel reservation. Seeing the exorbitant fee, I realized I hadn't booked directly with the Hilton. I asked for a refund minutes later and they said they could only refund half of their 'fees' and none of the hotel reservation, despite the fact that this Hilton location allows you a full refund up to 48 hours before your visit. It blows my mind how shameless this scam is and that Google doesn't have guardrails in place to keep scam sites like this from being a top sponsored result.
