DO NOT BOOK AT GUEST RESERVATIONS!I booked a hotelroom online, thinking it was directly on the website of The Hoxton in Paris but later I found out it was at Guest Reservations. I was directed to their website without noticing (it looked like the website of The Hoxton). The price of the room on the website was € 480,30 and when I checked in at the hotel on the 15th of February and needed to show my reservation at the front desk, I noticed that I was charged for € 714,06 (!). That is € 233,76 extra for "tax recovery charges and service". This is absolute nonsense! The people at the front desk told me that they received the reservation through Booking.com and they were granted € 526,=. I spent 1 hour in Paris trying to set this right, without succes. Back home I called Guest Reservations who connected me with Customer Service. They kept me waiting for 30 minutes and then I hung up. I would like a full refund. My reservation number is R5433083527

Working with scammers-be careful

I made a booking using their link at the price advertised on Google. Without knowing they had redirected me to a 3rd party website that was a scam.I would not use this company again as they are facilitating fraudulent activity and not performing screening on their affiliated booking sites. I’ve noted that everyone that gives this type of feedback gets the exact same generic response. Look forward to getting mine. I think this is a testament to the poor quality of this company.

I was charged twice for a room that

I was charged twice for a room that never confirmed. 700 euro. Cannot cancel. They don’t respond to my emails and cannot get through phone line. Scammmmm!!!!

WARNING!!! - ATTENZIONE!!!

On 11/03/25 I booked a room for the night between 11 and 12 March 2025 at Hotel Isa in Rome through their website, the appearance of which led me to believe that it was the Hotel Isa's website.At the time of payment, which should have amounted 320.98 euros, I was charged an additional fee of 124.75 euros that was not declared during the booking process and was not due.I sent a written complaint asking to be refunded as soon as possible, otherwise I will turn to the judicial authorities to protect my rights.In data 11/03/25 ho prenotato una camera per la notte tra l'11 e il 12 marzo 2025 presso l'Hotel Isa di Roma tramite il sito web di Guest Reservations, il cui aspetto mi ha portato a credere che fosse il sito web dell'Hotel Isa.Al momento del pagamento, il cui totale ammontava ad euro 320,98, mi '? stata addebitata una commissione aggiuntiva di 124,75 euro che non era stata dichiarata in fase di prenotazione e che non era dovuta.Ho inviato un reclamo scritto chiedendo di essere rimborsata il prima possibile, ove non venisse effettuato ho intenzione di rivolgermi all'autorit' giudiziaria per tutelare i miei diritti.

30 Euro tax recovery on a 57 Euro room?3 nights on

I made a reservation for 3 nights on what looked my hotel website, the price looked ok, until I got the final statement... they added 30 Euros per night on a 3 day stay... which amounts to 2/3 of the entire amount. Tax recovery? this sound like a scam to me. 57Euros for the room and 30 Euros for tax recovery? Is this Trump university math? Sorry. will never use Guest Res. again.

Complete scam

Complete scam. Don’t do this. These guys present them self as being the whatever hotel group. But they are scam. In my case the site was as being the guest relations of IHG Holiday Inn Arnhem. Price was 87€ so booked, time ticker should have warned me . Instead the price wa finally 120€!!! Stay far away from this site

Horrible booking experience

When I made the reservation, I believed I was booking directly with the hotel. Only after receiving the confirmation did I realize that this was a third-party booking through Guest Reservations.I have serious concerns regarding: 1. Misleading Booking Interface – The site closely resembles an official hotel website, and there was no clear indication during the booking process that I was using a third-party service. 2. Undisclosed Charges – The confirmation shows over €150 in taxes and services, which were not transparently disclosed before I confirmed the booking. 3. Non-Cancellation Policy – I was not made sufficiently aware of the “no cancellation” policy before booking. This was only apparent in the confirmation notice, after payment had already been processed.Given these issues, I am requesting a full refund or, at minimum, I believe this is a reasonable request under the circumstances and hope that Guest Reservations will resolve this fairly.I heard back from Guest Reservations with a case number and an indication that my case would be reviewed in 7 days. This is incredibly disappointing and unsatisfactory. They processed my reservation very speedily but cannot attend to my concerns with the same care. Very poor customer service.

Total not worthy to use.

Is not scam. Just total not worthy, book trough main websites always better. If you book trough here: you can't cancel, you can't change days without fee, what you could do freely booked trough hotels website. And you have to be careful about additional fees in hotel.What issue solve?? Issue is: written total price, and later into email you getting, paid price + resort fee you have to pay in the hotel.

Today I made a reservation through Expedia for a hotel in Ireland. I arranged to pay at the hotel. After I made the booking I received a notification from guest reservations that I had secured the best room rate at the hotel, but I needed to complete a form requesting information including details of my credit card. I then found that my credit card had been debited over 1,000AUD. I have no idea why. I contacted NAB who advised me to contact Expedia but Expedia said it was my fault. I have contacted Guest Reservations but have not heard back yet. My experience so far suggests that Guest Reservations is an organisation that is just out to scam people. My advice is: DO NOT USE GUEST RESERVATIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.I have now received a response and also a full refund from Guest Reservations. Although I am pleased with the refund, I can tell you that their email reply to me is misleading.What they did to me is what they do to all people. I think I was charged about $30 (AUD) by guest reservations, for a service I did not receive. Therefore, my message to all remains:DO NOT USE GUEST RESERVATIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
