This website is a complete scam I thought I was booking through the real property and only after the reservation was made I found out I in fact was not. I tried to cancel the payment, but that did not go through and they charged me a crazy fee. I now managed to cancel the booking and really hoping I will have my money back, even though by reading the reviews here I am starting getting more and more hopeless. God bless the EU's customer protection.
I was trying to make a reservation, I thought Im trying via hotel's website but it was Guestreservation site. I did not confirm booking, as the final amount was too high than at the beginning (tax etc) and I cancelled the process. Still My bank account was charged (!!) even though i did not confirmed it, I have not received any email from guestreservation.com. Hotel said they have my reservation (!) and gave me the number from Booking ( I did not make anything via Booking so WT... )... However I cannot do anything because I do not have any email or number from Guestreservation, nothing (again - I stopped during the reservation process and did not make final confirmation, but well MONEY PAID). I cannot manage it and get back my money or anything and it is impossible to call to your service. I see other reviews and the same experience... It is illegal procedure and I've also reported it to the bank and authorities.
Thought I was booking a room through Hilton Hampton, Ashford. I went to payment but received no confirmation and the Hilton told me they have no reservation. Can I get my money back? I think the Hilton should take responsibility for this, they must know that GuestReservations are hijacking bookings.
An utterly dishonest scam. Appearing to be Hyatt's official site a 'special offer' of Baht 3,750, or $115. When I clicked to go to reserve it suddenly showed as Baht 5,900, or $177, I do not mind the money but I will NOT be scammed. Then it referred me to my bank and Visa to confirm if I wanted to authorise payment. I specifically DECLINED and said NO. But it then said payment had already been taken from my account against my express wishes, without my banks authorisation. My room was confirmed and no refund possible. WHY DO HYATT ALLOW A DISHONEST COMPANY TO MARKET FOR THEM? VISA MUST EXPLAIN THEMSELVES TOO.FAR WORSE, I am DISABLED and was given no opportunity to request special needs and the disabled access room I had when I stayed there three nights ago. Utter dishonesty, I will be SCREAMING the house down and banging crutches for all to hear when I arrive tomorrow. Hyatt will not like me. Nor will they ever see my money again.
GuestReservations.com appears at the top of search engine results and looks deceptively like an official hotel website. I booked thinking I was dealing directly with the hotel, only to realize too late that it was a third-party platform with hidden, excessive fees.Their cancellation policy is rigid, customer service is unhelpful, and there’s no flexibility, even in cases of genuine mistakes or confusion. The final price was much higher than what was initially shown, and there was no way to amend or cancel the booking without losing a significant amount of money. This is a blatant scam disguised as a booking service. I am extremely dissatisfied and feel taken advantage of. I’m writing this to warn others not to fall into the same trap. Always double-check you’re on the hotel’s actual site — and stay far away from GuestReservations.com.
SCAM!! AVOID THIS SITE!! SCAM!!! I booked a room which was advertised on holiday in ?324 for 3 nights in Bath, this appeared to be the official holiday inn website and the price was clearly stated for the time of booking. Once I completed my booking I was shocked to see my email confirmation said I’d been charged ?984.46 which is 3 times the price that was advertised and even more shocked to see it wasn’t through holiday inn but this random company in America??!! This site is a complete fraud completed with false advertising to trick people into booking hotels through them! Once googling and finding them on trust pilot I see 100s of people have also been scammed by them!! I am in absolute despair as this is a trip I’d been saving for months and now I am completely out of pocket, distressed and upset. Please please be careful, this company is a scam!!!!!!
This is absolutely scam. Booked a room in Copenhagen Airport on what appeared to be on the hotel webpage of Comfort Hotel Copenhagen - but is is NOT!!! comfortcopenhagen.guestreservations.com, the rate went up 50 procent during payment processing - so-called taxes. But there are NO taxes on the hotel room in CPH. Tried to phone the company - not possible to get through. I could have got the same room approx 60 USD cheaper by a direct booking or via booking.com
The hotel I booked was full, but they charged my card anyway. I was told I would receive my money back within 48 hours, then I was told 72 hours, then 5-7 working days. After 7 days I was told then to contact my bank, after contacting my bank they told me the company was withholding my money. Long story short, Guest reservations stole my money and will do nothing to make sure it's returned. DO NOT USE this site
