Charged 4,500 for a two night hotel standard room

Mistakenly thought I was on Hyatt site - this site is deceptive and sneaky - but I booked a standard room - what Hyatt charges 230$ for they charged me 1600$ a night. With no notice it was not refundable. I was charged $4,500 for two nights in a standard Hyatt hotel room. Called Hyatt and there was no reservation. Called customer service and the first woman spent an hour telling me ‘sorry non refundable ‘ the next agent I got was much more understanding and even acknowledged the price seemed wrong. But still did not provide me a credit. They were going to ‘see what they could do but no guarantees’ and told me they were ‘cancelling’ my reservation but tat did not guarantee I would get my forty five hundred dollars back. I now have to wait for anywhere from 24 hours to 7 days to find out if they will refund the money. Other weeks/day for the same hotel are a fraction of the cost. (For instance 27-29 is 1600 a night - but the week before same days is 300). The actual hotel is 239$. I don’t mind third party sites charging fees but this is more than five times the price and they refuse to refund the money.

Scam company- do not accidentally book with them!

This website displays itself as though it is the direct website to book hotels- with pricing very similar to the direct price on the hotel site. I believed up until check in that I had booked direct. I paid $200 in fees to guest reservations only to find that those fees were NOT the hotel fees and there were separate hotel fees to be paid directly to the hotel. I paid $200 in fees to guest reservations and over $100 in fees to the hotel itself. Even on my credit card statement, the charge is labeled in a way that makes it seem as though I was charged by the hotel directly.Be SO careful when booking hotels because the URLs and charging name of this company mimic the legitimate URLS and practices of the hotels they book for!! This is absolutely a scam and I am shocked that this company has been able to operate this way.They are not BBB accredited, as I found out when I went to leave a review for this company on the BBB as well. The BBB lists a contact (Chantal Reynolds) for "Customer Success" for this company, but a Google search of her name with this company does not yield anything of value. I am doubtful that this Customer Success representative exists or is legitimate.

This company ripped me off

This company ripped me off. When using my debit card the bank wanted me to verify the payment. While waiting for the OTP to pop up, some how this company took the money out of the account, so it wasn't verified, is that legal? A message was sent immediately saying that if I cancel I will lose everything. I have paid an extra ?250 above what I should have paid. This company is American, trumps America selfish and greedy.

Scam! Avoid

They take your money without your consent. They let you fill out credit card details, then mid-way through the booking process suddenly the price is waayyyyyy higher, but even if you never click on okay or finish the booking process in any other way, and close the web page, suddenly they will have taken money out of your credit card account. And then they cannot be reached. To the Guest Reservations founders or anyone who sold their soul by working there: bad karma will bite you in the a$$... just wait and see.

Hotel booking Charged double at time of booking

I really thought that I was making a reservation at the hotel website. I opted for a refundable reservation but it was only after I paid with a credit card, that the real price was quoted with taxes,amounting to twice the price that I would have paid with Booking. They did not send me any e mail with a reservation number and a confirmation code. I want to cancel my booking and need to rebook with Original hotel website.

DO NOT USE This Company guestreservationsI booked three double rooms IN MAR 17 OUT MAR 21their system made an extra charge to my credit card (more then USD 1K)I am still waiting for my refund MAR 28 2025. please do not use this kind of companies do not ruin your vacations.a lot of phone calls and emails has been sent and they always respond they are waiting for a response from the hotel.

Stolen..I made a reservation and then I

I made a reservation and then I canceled it right away, now they don't want to give my money back. I think that everything is a deception on the part of Guest Reservations to not take responsibility and refund my money. I sent emails and they don't answer. The worst service in my life.

They are not a scam

They are not a scam. I made a transaction with them and requested a refund on the same day. I received the full refund within two days.I made the refund because I got a good offer from Make my Trip.

Misleading Scam

**Guest Reservation Review**I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I tried to book a hotel room through a company that falsely represented itself as the hotel’s official booking site. This misleading setup made me believe I was securing a reservation directly with the hotel. To make matters worse, I was hit with unexpected fees that I didn’t see until after I completed the booking. I specifically requested one type of room, but instead, I ended up with a cheaper option when the reservation was finalized without my consent.Furthermore, the lack of customer support is unacceptable. I attempted to contact the company over the phone, but it was impossible to get through. They demanded a hotel reservation number that I never received in the confirmation email. This entire experience feels like a scam that needs urgent attention. I urge someone to take action against this company. It is unacceptable for consumers to be treated this way.

I am trying to cancel a reservation and

I am trying to cancel a reservation and you CANNOT SPEAK to a LIVE person. this is frustrating. What is also frustrating is that you get hooked into paying excessive fees to your hotel reservation. this is not good at all.
