I recently had a problem with a purchase I made in store but didn’t realise until I got home. I contacted customer service and was helped by Dean. I have to say how impressed I was with the way he kindly and professionally dealt with my problem. He responded quickly and resolved the issue without any hassle. The service that is given both in store and remotely is outstanding. I trust the advice given and have always felt the the employees here really care and are knowledgable experts of the products. Worst website ever/great products. So infuriating that the Penhaligons website is so full of glitches. Makes it almost impossible to shop on-line with them. Products get 5 stars, website gets 1 star!

Lovely products and in store experience, but terrible online experience/online customer service. I placed an order and paid. A week later I received a refund with no communication from Penhaligon's so assumed my order had been cancelled. As it was a gift I needed urgently, I went and bought one from the store. The next day I then received the order and Penhaligon's charged me again, without authorisation. On contacting customer services they say their policy is to take payment within 30 days(?) Depending on their stock. I've never experienced this anywhere else before and think it's a pretty dodgy process. I now can't get a refund unless I return the order, which is pretty inconvenient considering I already had to go out of my way to go in store to buy another product. Don't recommend and won't buy online again.
