Review of Penhaligons
Lovely products and in store experience, but terrible online experience/online customer service. I placed an order and paid. A week later I received a refund with no communication from Penhaligon's so assumed my order had been cancelled. As it was a gift I needed urgently, I went and bought one from the store. The next day I then received the order and Penhaligon's charged me again, without authorisation. On contacting customer services they say their policy is to take payment within 30 days(?) Depending on their stock. I've never experienced this anywhere else before and think it's a pretty dodgy process. I now can't get a refund unless I return the order, which is pretty inconvenient considering I already had to go out of my way to go in store to buy another product. Don't recommend and won't buy online again.
