AVOID THIS COMPANY WHEN SELLING YOUR PHONE

My review is pretty consistent with most other reviews here when selling your phone. My old phone was in great condition and was offered around ?270 as I selected the "good" condition as there was a few miniscule scratches around the outer edges of the phone with no visible damage to the screen or camera lenses. Upon UR receiving my phone and reviewing the condition they low balled the price massively to ?90 as the phone was apparently in bad condition with deep scratches and screen scratch damage?? (the phone was kept in a protective case and screen protector the whole time I had it. I rejected this offer and wanted the phone returned to me as I had a good offer elsewhere from a more reputable company. Following this UR came back to me with a revised offer of ?110, which i rejected again as it was still not even half of what they offered me originally. They again offered me another price of ?130 which I rejected again. They came back with a final offer of ?150 which is ?60 more than what they originally offered which I find baffling as I probably would have accepted that if they offered it at the beginning. This company seem to want to draw people in with a great price to beat the other competition so they can get your phone then make up that there is more damage than what is actually there to trick you into accepting a low balled offer. I am currently waiting on my phone being returned to me to sell it elsewhere as I don't want to deal with them and DEFINITELY WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN!!!

AVOID

AVOID! I was quoted ?268 for my Iphone 12 pro max in excellent condition (no scratches etc). When they received it, they offered me ?158 as the battery life was 86% and it had been charged ?599 times. Their policy is a new battery if it's below 85% or been charged 500 times. Even although they only guarantee selling their phones with a minimum of 80% battery life so they have no intentions of replacing the battery. I declined the offer and asked for my phone to be returned. Received a call to say they would increase their offer to ?200. I declined. She then increased their offer to ?230. I declined. She cut the call off in anger. Thankfully I've received my phone back today in the same condition as I sent it but what a waste of 3 weeks!

Well Well Well

Well, well, well after just 10 short days in customer service purgatory, my phone has finally made its grand return from UR.co.uk – or as I like to call them, the Discount Delusion Specialists.Like many glowing reviews have said, they generously offered me 45% less than the original quote. Why? Because the battery – with 90% health and just over 500 charging cycles – “needed replacing”. Fascinating, considering Apple only recommends a new battery once it dips below 80%, but hey, maybe UR know something Apple doesn’t? A new frontier in battery science, perhaps?Oh, and the cherry on top? Their grading expert claimed the phone had “slight scratches in more than one place.” Intriguing, since it’s never been out of its luxury case with a soft inner lining, and had a screen protector since day one. I even took high-res photos of every angle before I sent it off. So unless micro-scratches now come from air molecules, I’m calling nonsense. As expected, when I questioned their fantasy evaluation, they magically increased the offer – still a joke, mind you – so I asked for my phone back.Ten days later (because efficiency is not in their vocabulary), it arrived. And lo and behold, a miracle! Somewhere on its journey via Royal Mail, those mysterious scratches disappeared. It’s as if the phone had been touched by the hand of a divine postman. Thank you, Royal Mail, for returning it in exactly the pristine condition I sent it in — unlike the version UR.co.uk hallucinated.?Conclusion:Will I be dealing with UR.co.uk again? Only if I develop a sudden desire to waste time, lose money, and question my sanity.Their customer service is a masterclass in avoidance, their offers are fantasy fiction, and their transparency is about as clear as mud.Avoid this company like a dodgy eBay listing. You’ve been warned.

Having sent in my iPhone 12 after being

Order number 900296130Having sent in my iPhone 12 after being given a quote of ?210, I recieved an email today with a revised offer of ?130!As the phone had been charged 900 times and a battery percentage of 83..and some scratches on housing.Having looked through other reviews it’s clear that others have had the same generic statements given to them, in order to justify a ?80 drop in the quote originally offered.Firstly it’s over 4 years old, the phone has always been in a case and screen protector!it does not need ?80 spent on it to make it fine again!I only used this company as my daughter has in the past and recommended them to me.I will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone myself.Avoid not to be trusted ??iam happy I took photos of every bit of my phone and always had screen protector and case on my phones and looked after it as I have on all my phones I ever bought !! Had a call from customer service offering to revise the lower offer and was much more helpful in resolving my issues and we came to a agreement that was fair to both

Used to be a great company to deal with...Not anymore!

They used to be honest and honoured the prices stated having sent in many devices in the past!Recently sent in a "very good" condition iphone. Only to be sent a lowball offer of almost half the stated value. Outright refused the offer and requested phone be returned only to then have it "re-assessed" and offer increased. Still less than the stated amount. reluctantly accepted offer as was due to fly out for a long vacation. It then took 8 days to make payment, only after an email was sent stating my negative experience and that my online review will reflect this. Will not be dealing with UR mobile again.
