Review Time
Although the plant arrived on time it was in a very poor condition with no healthy foliage. I planted and cared for it as instructed but it showed no signs of recovery so I asked for a replacement. I was told this wasn't possible but I could have a credit note or refund. I opted for a refund but despite chasing it up on two occasions it was never received.Disappointing to say the least.
Placed an order on 23-Jun, said it would be with me in 3-5 working days. I've been checking in My Account section - order says "Processed" but no tracking number added. So, presumably this has not yet been shipped but may be in a box already. Who knows?Tried to get hold of customer service and left a message. No response - it's been days. Concerned my plant will dry out especially in this very hot weather. Followed up again today. As it stands, I have no idea when this will be shipped. Communications are poor. No status updates provided on orders. Can't get hold of anyone. I will allow a few more days before I contact my bank and get the payment reversed. Not good enough in this day and age, to be frank. Don't use them.
I ordered a Acer Maple collection, thinking I was getting the 4 trees detailed in the description. Instead I got 4 completely different Acer Maples, classic a??bait and switcha?. In addition the trees were over potted and a couple had dead leaves. After raising this immediately I was requested to provide photos like others in the reviews. However, also like others in the reviews, that was the last I heard from them. I am lucky I only spent a ?46 on these but never the less, I will be asking for a refund from my credit card company. I would advise all others to do the same and better avoid this company! I will!
I have ordered twice from gardening express. One order was for pair of hibiscus trees which arrived looking healthy. The other order was for 7 azaleas and 3 buddleia. Unfortunately this order wasna??t good as half of the azaleas didna??t look healthy on arrival. Now a few weeks later, almost half of the azaleas are dying or dead even though they have been planted and looked after the exact same way as the healthy ones. I have emailed customer services but havena??t heard back yet. Although gardening express has good prices, you run the risk of receiving unhealthy plants. Ia??ll be sticking to the garden centre from now on, slightly more expensive but I can always choose the healthiest looking plants.
I have only used Gardening Express once but I wont be using them again. I spent just under a ?75 but never received my order and struggled to get refund. I had to raise a dispute with my bank to claim the money back. Very poor customer service; they do not reply to emails regarding refunds or delayed deliveries and their online chat messaging service is just the same. There is no contact number either. Avoid!
I placed my order on the 7th June, they took my money immediately and promised delivery within 15 days. I finally had an email confirming my order had been dispatched on the 30th June but when my parcel arrived only 2 of the 5 items I ordered were in the parcel. Despite sending numerous emails I have still had no response and am none the wiser when or if I will receive the balance of my order!
