Review Time
My plants finally arrived, not in the best condition. I had one lithadora missing, but nopne bothered to tell .The lithadora were just a scrunched up ball with the plastic bag over the top.They have not grown and flourished, at all, and infact now look pretty dead.The customer service in this company is absolutely atrocious. I cannot put into words just how bad it is.Please can someone reply to my complaint as my order was delivered much later than it should have been, and the lithadora is slowly dying.Many thanks
Ordered a number of items which came 3 weeks later. Happy with the climbing roses looked good and well packaged. The lavender looks dry and has only a few green stems so I am not sure how well it will survive. The begonia was well packaged and rooted. The plum tree has roots but the stem is tall and completely dry without any foliage so I'm worried how it will survive. Would have preferred some instructions on planting and managing the plants.
Gardening Express? More like snail '???.I ordered a plant from this company on 05/06/2025 .I have sent three emails to them asking the whereabouts of my order, no reply just the usual quote on delivery times. Well it's now 01/07/2025 and still no delivery and no information from the company concerned.So i have now passed this on as fraudulent to my bank. I have since checked the reviews on trustpilot and they seem hit and miss.My advise would be stay well clear
As with so many other customers, I did not have a good experience. Half the order arrived within 2 weeks of ordering. Not a word from the company re the missing items, Website contact form attempts to reach them (now 3 sent in total) have just been ignored. There's no phone number to reach anyone so I'm without plants, without comms & without refund. Sometimes issues happen, everyone knows & understands that, but the lack of comms and responses is unacceptable customer service. Go elsewhere!
I was so pleased I found the plants I was struggling to find but when they arrived, which took over 10days one was broken and the other was a bit disappointing. I contacted Gardening Express straight away with photos of the damaged plant still in the packaging. I would have been happy with a replacement but I have had no replies from my emails. I have now asked for a full refund for both plants but NO reply, NO apology, NO replacement, NO refund. I was happy to not put a review on the website untill I had my replacement or refund. Friends have had a bad experience too with the same company.
Didna??t pick my order for nearly a month until I sent 3 emails. Then was told some of my plants werena??t available anymore so sent me a refund for those but gave no chance to change or add to my order then a week later said my order was damaged in transit and got back the rest of my money with no offer to replace or change my order first.
Have used this company previously and the shrubs and plants I bought from them were great. Delivered within 5 days, well packaged. So I had no hesitation to use them again. However..ordered on 8th June and the order has still not been despatched. To be honest I did think this was due to the heatwave and that the plants would not travel well, but I have now got to the point where my flower bed remains empty where the new shrubs would have been planted so, had I known it would be over 5 weeks (and still no delivery) I would not have ordered. I have used their on line form twice to request cancelling the order and a full refund, but have received no response at all. This poor customer service is enough for me to never use them again. I dona??t know why any company would feel it is acceptable to ignore their customers. Yes companies become busy, and they are clearly overwhelmed, so take on some extra customer service staff during this period and protect your reputation, as all customers want is reassurance and an explanation as to what is happening. Such a shame for what was a great company but has clearly lost its way. I will give it another couple of weeks and if not received will claim the money back from my bank. And buy the plants locally before the season ends.
