Terrible. Late delivery, no follow up, poor communication, unhelpful customer service. The details: I placed an order 26th May. Delivery guidelines are 5-10 days. 10 days later (6 June) I received an automated a??dona??t worry ita??s cominga?? mail. Nothing came, no further message, so eleven days later (17 June) I submitted a query form (you cannot call, only submit a form). No response. On the 25th June I resubmitted a query form asking a??why no communicationa?. Two days later I received a reply. a??Sorry youa??ve experienced a problema?. At least they said a??sorrya?. They explained my package was running late, they were busy and then told me that if I a??submit multiple queries they go to the bottom of the list and are marked as spama??. I dona??t regard a follow up eight days after a a??no replya?? as a??spama??, this is an unhelpful response to put it mildly. The plants arrived 30th June. Four were in good shape, one dead. Ia??ll chalk that up as an experience, unsubscribe and never use them again. I suggest you do the same.
Ia??m not sure if Ia??m allowed to write another review.The 19th of May I ordered my plants.Was in a sad state the Petunia on arrival three weeks later they was delivered.Ia??m still waiting for the rest of the order.Geraniums, on my account, ita??s still showing partially shipped.After so many emails and one response. and the man said stop emailing otherwise Ia??ll be back to the bottom of the response.So my summer plants will they ever turn up?I couldna??t fault this company all the previous orders over the years.Ia??m just baffled, what has gone wrong now.
I had contacted them 9 times to ask for an update as to when I could expect my order to be delivered, and only getting an automated response which frankly told me nothing, I tried to cancel my order to again only get an automated response - my order was delivered today, 37 days after placing my order. To say I am disappointed in the service or lack of, and the condition of the plants I received is an understatement. I have received half dead plants, plants that have been rammed into the box and are damaged and have fallenOut of their pots . I will never use this company again how can a company called gardening express think ita??s acceptable to deliver poor quality plants 37 days after being ordered AVOID!
THIS COMPANY HAVE 2 TRUSTPILOT PROFILES!! Their other profile has an appalling rating of 1.1 which they have failed to acknowledge so check that out before buying from them! I purchased three digitalis which all had their main stem snapped at the base and calloused over meaning they were in that condition when posted out. If you politely explain the problem and send photos they will ask for more photos then ignore you. You won't get your money back which directly contravenes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 but they couldn't care less. They offload dead and dying plants in their sales and their staff are clearly scraped from the bottom of some bargain bin! Absolute trash!!
Now 4 weeks since placing an order and nothing received. The company is expert in making it impossible to communicate with them. Even linking to their website from the Trustpilot site provides no way to communicate with them. I certainly feel scammed and would urge others to avoid them altogether.
Placed order at the start of June, waited the full 15 working days for delivery. No items delivered. Contacted customer services with no reply. Have requested a refund but it's unlikely I will even get a reply. Will forward complaint to trading standards, and request money back from my payment provider. Terrible company, do not purchase from them!
