Review Time
I ordered a rose on 6 June for a funeral. It is now over 3 weeks since they took payment and no rose has been delivered. I have emailed the "friendly team" at customer services 3 times and still no response. My order is still saying tracking pending and the funeral will have taken place. Distressing and embarrassing. Absolutely appalling service. I have used Garden Express in the past with no problems. However, reading recent reviews it seems that things are going badly wrong with this company so I would advise caution before using them. There is no way to cancel the order for a refund even though nothing appears to have been dispatched and no way to contact them other than via the website where no one seems to be monitoring messages. Nothing Express about it. I won't be using them again.
So for people waiting for orders and worrying mine arrived yesterday after around a month from ordering. Everything alive!They are not a scam company it looks like they have been over successful this summer with orders and it has caused them problems which they have sorted.I personally have decided not to buy plants online anymore as not a single plant I have bought from any online store has looked like the photos which seem to only show plants after a couple of years. In fact most of what I've received would be in a bargain bucket section?I think there's better things to get upset about!
This company has no morals whatsoever, cana??t contact them by phone, take your money without giving a delivery date but because you cana??t contact them what can you do? Mr Bonnett (the director and owner) is sitting there laughing and we are the mugs paying for his holidays. When I did get my plants eventually they were all squashed and out of their pots. Ia??m reporting to trading standards. This company should not exist!
bought some garden pots from them, waited ages for them to arrive and when they did , both were smashed and broken, the delivery man knew this but still unloaded them onto the pavement then refused to take them away as he only delivers , after multiple email requesting they call me and asking for a refund , nothing , they do not answer my messages and have no phone number to contact them on ,I am hundreds of pounds out of pocket and had to pay someone to take the broken pots and pallet away.absolutely appalling service from this company and i have no way whatsoever of getting my money back.never ever use gardening express they are not relabel in any way, they take your money and run .i have a feeling they are not responding to anyone looking at other peoples messages on here it like they are running the company into the ground and not refunding anyone.if anyone gardening express reads this you should be absolute ashamed of yourself .never ever use these people
Spent over a ?200 on plants - fig tree arrived snapped in half. Foxgloves described as a??in buda? has already shed their bloom. Some Salvias damaged. Ferns browning. After waiting 4 weeks for delivery. I get that damage happens and ita??s been hot BUT they could be packaged with water granules and I have had NO REPLY from customer service 5 days on! The only option on the website is to return them at my cost - paying for several boxes via a courier makes it not worth returning.Wona??t buy from again.
Having recently moved, my new garden was bereft of any plants. Gardening Express plants have fulfilled my ambition to having lots of colour and scent ready for this summera??s entertaining . So well packed. I really dona??t know how they do the plants for the money.Many thanks Gardening Express!
