Review Time
Ordered a Nectorine plant from Gardening Express on the 21-05-25 and had to wait a long time till i got it delivered. When i opened the box i planted it staight away into a large pot and then noticed the tree had Peach Leaf Curl. I contacted the company and got a email asking for more details and photos. I have now sent all this info twice and contacted the company on more occations and my efforts to get a reply has fallen on deaf ears. They say there customers feedback is important to them, but this is not true. Never use this company.
Damaged, skinny, limp poor quality plant. Contacted them immediately to advise them of the significant damage and to request for a full refund. Also asked how to return the damaged item back to them. Initially, I received an automated response saying that they would be in touch. Alas, more time went by with no further action, so I had to chase again. Finally got a response stating that I would need to arrange a courier to collect the damaged plant and also pay for the return. I responded by telling them that I was not going to pay and arrange for a courier as this was their responsibility not mine! Once again they are ignoring my messages. 3 weeks later I still have not received my refund and I still have a limp, spindly damaged plant awaiting their response. I am now going to escalate this with a professional body. I will NEVER use this company again and I do not recommend.
Please dona??t buy from them!! Yes, they have excellent deals and I brought a lot of plants from them, Ia??ve waited a month for my delivery and when it did arrive, the plants were in shocking condition, dry and broken, most of my plants already died. I cana??t get hold of them, Ia??ve emailed twice with no response and I even left a review on their website with the photos which for whatever reasons, it didna??t publish!
Prices seemed too good to be true. They were. Absolutely no communication throughout. Sent badly damaged, unhealthy plants. Accidents happen of course, but the mark of a good company is one that looks to put things right. Gardening Express do not do this. Ia??ve been forced to seek a refund through my credit card company.
I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing, I ordered only yesterday and order stated that it hadn't gone through for some reason ??? however I then got a confirmation of the order and thought great ok it did go through, however in this process I received a despatch notice for half of the order ( on a different order number to the original) and the actual plant missing - I emailed them yesterday haven't heard from them as yet, and by the looks of it I'm probably not going to !!!! I'm so put off this company so far- I wont be buying again from them for this reason
Purchased many lily bulbs. Most of them came with 6-8 inch growth which were all broken off in the bags of compost they were in. Took photos as was advised and sent on only to be ignored. The 4 rose trees were sticks and crispy few leaves on one, none of them grew also none had an actual root system. They even sent the wrong plants stating what I purchased was no longer available. Why advertise then and why not inform me of the option of a refund. Diabolical way to treat customers. Takes far too long for deliveries. I cana??t understand the positive reviews as this does not reflect my experience whatsoever. Dona??t exactly ring true to be honest after discovering so many other victims of this so called company having same problems as myself. No customer service at all no phone number only a form to fill in on their site. Which they barely acknowledge. Please dona??t waste your time go to a decent supplier or garden centre. This company has gone downhill fast. Ia??ll never use them again. Like many others.
