Shocking company to deal with Waited way to long for delivery when eventually arrived, today, the order is short spend a ?141.00 with them No phone number to call just automated chat bot, Shocking customer service this day an age, hiding behind the Internet.DO NOT USE THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Spent a ?170 on plants and 80% of what was delivered was not what I ordered. The items that were correct were ridiculously small ie: a couple of twigs, that you would never have bought if it had been seen prior to purchase. I would never order from this company again as they just send whatever they have in stock and not what you have paid for. Much better off going to a garden centre.
I ordered several types of plants. After 3 weeks Ia??ve received one of them. Contacted them by completing online form on their website, as no email or telephone number. No response at all. All in all I have contacted them 3 times and still nothing. Do not order from this company! Wish I had read reviews before ordering, as it appears this is a recurring problem.
I placed an order over a ?100 with a mixture of indoor & outdoor houseplants. The order was split into several deliveries and was pretty slow however I'd prefer to wait and receive top quality plants than have it sent out quickly for the sake of it. However on this occasion, I didn't receive top quality. Two Anthuriums I ordered arrived in a poor state. One of them had various rips/tears & general damage to one of it's leaves with the end of the leaf also missing. The other Anthurium was received with a big leaf that was yellowing and with brown tears/holes in it.I contacted GE straight away to explain my dissatisfaction to which I was asked for photos. I sent these over promptly and from this moment, I never received a response. It's been 3 weeks now since I sent GE the photos and I have chased this up numerous times with no reply. This is extremely disappointing to receive such a poor service and that they are not taking accountability nor coming to a suitable resolution. I've ordered from Gardening Express before and not had any issues so its a shame this time round, its been such a bad experience. I won't be ordering from GE again and nor do I recommend this company.
I ordered a Magnolia tree and several other items. The tree arrived via Yodel BUT the other items did not arrive. I tried to ask the Yodel driver if he had the other items in the van but he didn't speak any English at all.The Magnolia tree is supposed to be "supplied in a 5-litrre pot". It isn't - it is bare-rooted and wrapped in a handful of compost in a plastic bag.I have tried contacting Gardening Express a) via the form on their website and b) via the feedback link they sent to me, to organise a refund as I do not want to pay for items that don't turn up!Gardening Express have not replied and don't seem to be responding to emails.Awful service, poor products, non-existent Customer Service. I just want my money back and will then not buy anything from them again.
The packaging was damaged upon delivery, and this caused 3 branches of the enclosed tree to be broken.The plant itself was of a very poor quality and had quite clearly been left unwatered for some considerable time, so most of the leaves were dry and yellow. I cannot recommend this company and regret my purchase, I have emailed the company but they have not even cared to reply.
