Payment delays

As it currently stands, UR have had two phones which I have sent for trade in for approximately 2 weeks. Although initially dissatisfied with the revised offers, I reluctantly accepted and was advised that payment would be made within 3-7 working days. Appreciate that there has been bank holidays during this period, but I have still not received payment or any correspondence regarding delays. Currently, as its stands im disappointed with this company and would look at using others in the future.

Don't Use UR!!

As new iPhone 14 sent with a valuation of ?330. They received phone and offered ?205 saying scratches on screen and back, but phone had always had a case and screen protector so there were no scratches. I declined; they rang offering ?250, I declined and they returned phone. I'm going to sell on eBay.

Still awaiting payment a week later

I received a call today from one of the Customer Service Team(sorry I didn’t catch your name). We discussed the issue and I have since been paid within 20 minutes of the phone call. Although a little wait to get the money I cannot fault this service and the follow up from the team. Thank you Still awaiting payment a week later. No communication to say what bank details they are sending the money to. Usually BACS payments are very quick and after reading these reviews, im worried I will never receive the money

Excellent service

This is the second phone I have bought, both ordered and delivered within 24 hours. Phone is exactly as described excellent condition. When I need a third phone, I’ll use them again.

Sent good as new , returned with missing sim tray unable to re sell

When I sent my phone to UR they sent several emails saying my phone iCloud was still locked . After several calls to unlock it & 10days of this going on & on I asked them to pay or return my phone . They returned my phone minus the sim carriage. It’s been 2 weeks & im still waiting for them to return the sim carriage so I can try and sell the phone to somebody be else . My phone is like new , the attitude is , Oh we have a sim carriage/tray somewhere we can send one out to you . They are in no hurry , their support staff email then you don’t hear from them again . 5 working day came and went Tuesday , they have my sim as I realised didn’t take it out . This has turned out to be the worse decision , I need the ? hence why I chose to sell my backup phone in the first place . Still battling for them to do the right thing since 22nd May. Would Never recommend them to anyone .

5 star customer service

Don't be put off by the First offerI sent them an iphone 12 in immaculate condition phone stayed in a case for the duration of the contract still had the original stickers on the offer original was ?177 they then gave me an offer of ?50 .due to scratches and battery life. No scratches on phone and the battery is 3 years old .2nd I hone Samsung galaxy s21 FE again phone stayed in its case for 3 years no damage to it still with original stickers on it . Was offered ?118 and when they received it offered me ?40.50I wasn't happy with this offer and I spoke to an amazing lady called Lucy discussed the decision and I told her of my disappointment. She reviewed the phones and the reports admittedly we couldn't get a better price on the iPhone due to face recognition not working. However they did get closer on the samsung . Im now a happy customer.Thank you Lucy for following up and ensuring a better customer experience.

Do your research

This review is edited, I'll leave my original to give a fair perspective of the experience:If you are in need of an immediate payment this probably isn't the company for you, comparison site said 1 day payment then you send device to UR and are told 3-7 working days (which might not happen either). Calling customer service is impossible, after exactly 10mins 36s you will get your call ended. Every time. After leaving my original review someone contacted me, my concern would be if I hadn't left the review what would happen? After all the above someone contacted me to resolve but it really shouldn't be this horrible of an experience to get the payment for your phone. Exercise caution. Original review:Impossible to reach anyone. Original quote not honoured even though phone is in a like new condition (condition i selected was good) and reduced by ?52 for 'light screen scratches' which is the good grade...Phone line hangs up after 10 mins which doesn't fill you with confidence. Unfortunately I was stupid enough to send 2 devices and im still waiting for payment for the 1st. This doesn't fill me with confidence and I feel like others should avoid for this reason.

Not trustworthy – look elsewhere

The online quote I received was not honoured. They initially offered me less than half the quoted amount, claiming my phone had been charged too many times—even though it was in excellent condition and over the recommended 85% battery life. I insisted on getting my device back because I don’t have time to waste. I told them to either pay the full quoted amount or forget the trade. They offered ?20 more. I said no. They offered another ?20 more. I was furious by this point. Eventually, they sent my phone back. Bottom line: they tried to lowball me to make a profit when selling. I do not recommend this service. You've been warned.

I have had the phone now for a few

I have had the phone now for a few months so far so good no problems whatsoever courtesy call to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated.
