Review Time
They do not offer you what they say they will. My phone was 2 years old. Not a scratch and in perfect working order. I just wanted an upgrade. They offered me ?104. I sent in my phone to be offered ?85 instead. As I didn't want the hassle I accepted. 3-7 working days for payment is the biggest lot of rubbish. I had to chase them for my money. 19th April they accepted my offer, 6th May I was paid after several emails and an email sent to the CEO. They then said I sent them the wrong bank account number!! Another delay tactic. Long and short of it is...... if you want the actual price offered and prompt payment....DON'T deal with them. It was a very stressful time. When I've traded in with Mazuma Mobile I've always received my money within 24 hours of acceptance. It is 2025 after all. Payment can be transferred immediately. Will never use them again or recommend them. Keep scrolling for another company, unless you want to be stressed out!
*edit*Phone was graded less than expected. Spoke to customer services who rectified the problem and paid out the website quoted price. Payment has now been recieved.I have been cautious reading the reviews, spoke to Lucy in customer services who was brilliant and forward leaning and has rectified the issue.My understanding is its new ownership and the team are looking to improve the experience.Whilst i can agree with previous negative reviews. The fact they are listening and actioning problems goes a long way and perhaps to be a bit more paitent (i havnt been) with the process.Thanks for sorting and paying out promplty and have amended to a 4 star as i cant argue with being paid what i was quoted depsite the mistake on the system offering me much lower.
I sent my phone off at the end of April. Not surprising I received a revised offer. Agreed the offer on the 2nd May and still no payment. Can’t get through to customer service and no response to emails. Update: within moments of this review going live I received a call from Matt who advised payment would be with me within 5 minutes and I have indeed received this
Very poor and would not use again. As many other reviews have commented the ‘offer’ price when you add the details into their website is far far from the reality of what they actually value it at. Payment is also dreadfully slow and when you contact them they are less than helpful, I would certainly not recommend using them.
Tried to sell a phone and they sent me 3 offers which I declined. I tried to call them twice: it holds for 10 minutes and disconnects you, they also don't reply on the chat page.I regret not having chosen another one trying to sell my phone.Edit: Got a call from Lucy and sorted this out. Got my phone back but as a feedback, the phone came lose inside the box which is something you don't advise when we send the phone to you.
