This company offered me the best price out of all the phone sellers at ?190 for my phone. I was honest about the condition and said it was good not excellent. Sent the phone in and because I’d charged the phone more than 500 times that they would only offer me ?70. Most people charge their phone once a day at minimal. Most phone contracts are over 24 months. That’s 730 times. Felt a bit mislead but didn’t want the hassle of getting the phone back so accepted the offer. That was 8 days ago and I’ve still not had the money in my account. Avoid this company. UPDATE: Following a call with Lucy at the customer care team she has seen this review and has offered to Increase the offer to ?100 and will be sent to me same day. Lucy was understanding of the situation and did her best to resolve it there and then over the phone.
Do not use these people!! 7th working day and still no payment apparently it will be made tomorrow although they state 3-7 working working days and when I chased it up with Louis and Lucy I was told it would be in my bank latest today!! Of course not the original offer they made on my phone as well! Scammers
So company heavily promotes itself in the tech recycling space and seems to offer fair prices for 'good', 'moderate' and 'poor' condition phones. So I send in the phone at a quoted price of 182 pounds and having checked criteria. The phone is an iPhone 12 and unsurprisingly I have used it for years... All goes well until the company use their small print and say 'We found the battery health is 78% and has been charged 1548 times. It is recommended that we need to replace the battery if it is below 85% health or has more than 500 charge cycles.' So if you have an older phone be prepared for some knock down price and you are better off going somewhere else...
