Review Time
I sold my Iphone 13 mini to them and they offered the highest price but when they received it they sent me a reduced offer of over half the price stating it had visible marks on the screen - this is not true - so I declined the offer and requested my phone was sent back. They then upped the offer, so I decline again and then they upped the offer agian and I declined again. They then upped the offer again so I accepted as i had already waited over a week. It then took them 8 days to process and send me the money. Don't believe the price they quote on their website and don't accept their first offer and don't expect your money quickly - all in the process took over two weeks and nearly half the original offer.**Update*** I have received a call from Lucy in the customer experience team and i have been offered the full price that was quoted online on the condition that i change my review to 4 stars so now you know what to do if you want to get the full price! Unethical and underhand business practices.
Initially I was offered ?198 for a Samsung S22+ but when they received my phone they lowered their offer to ?75 which I rejected as the phone was not in the 'poor' condition they described. Jump on here and read several reviews with similar situations so left a very negative review. A couple of hours later Kimberley called me and spent some time explaining their whole grading process and really tried hard to find a solution we were both happy with. I received a revised offer in which I did accept and money was received same day. Kimberly saved the day.
I had a mixed experience with UR having not initially been impressed with the service, however when I called and spoke with Jacob, his customer service ethic to resolve my issue was truly 5 star. I ended up getting a price which I deemed acceptable for my old device which is the main thing.
Very disappointing service. Sent phone to them with an estimate of ?359, phone in excellent condition, barely a mark on it. Once received they reduced the offer to ?150 on the basis it had scratches on the screen which was not true as it had had a screen protector on since day one. After rejecting the offer online I received a call to say the offer was inaccurate as it’s just produced by an algorithm and they could offer ?230. Declined again and asked for the phone to be returned to me. I have just received it back and the screen is now covered in scratches which were not there when they received it. The phone was packaged well when I sent it to them so no chance it has happened in transit. Scammers!
I recently decided to sell my iPhone 12 and used this company. Once received they offered a low amount for the phone, obviously its battery life they said was an issue and that it had scratches which I was extremely surprised about. I rejected their first and second offers but finally agreed to their third offer which was still below market rate. However, waiting for payment was the biggest niggle. They say payment is made between 3 and 7 days - but it was actually made 8 working days after I agreed to sell. The whole process was long winded. I wouldn’t recommend if I am honest.
I bought a Samsung S21 2 years ago and a Samsung S22 this year. Both buying experiences have been impeccable. The best prices I've seen for fully refurbished phones. No deceptions of the phone's exterior quality and brilliant packaging to ensure the device isn't damaged in transit. Along with a very speedy delivery, I'll most likely never buy phone's from anywhere else. I have not experienced any faults with my S21 in the past 2 years, nor have I noticed any decrease in my battery life.
