I dealt with Louis and Jacob. Everything went smoothly at the beginning. Then ran into a little problem but it was handled quickly and professionally by Louis. Always nice to use a company that handles things promptly if something arises. ????
I used UR a few years ago and was given the quoted price without any incident and the payment was in my bank account within 4 days so, I thought I’d use them again, and oh I wish I hadn’t bothered. I was quoted ?377 for an iPhone 14 256 gb but when it was checked they offered ?280.50!. The phone was immaculate but because the battery was on 90% they wanted to knock all that money off!. I rang them and complained so they offered me ?330 which I accepted but now they’re taking an eternity to pay. Whenever I phone, oh we’re running behind with payments, please give another working day!. And, still no payment. Absolute joke of a company!, avoid at all costs!!. Sounds like a phone call to trading standards is in order!. EDIT/ UPDATEToday I received a call from “Kimberley” but missed the call. After numerous attempts ringing back I spoke to Jacob who was very helpful and friendly.The situation, as I’ve been told, is that a third party was making the payments on behalf of UR and have fallen way short in their standards, so, UR have taken this payment process back “In house” and I am pleased to say I have now been paid in full. I also mentioned the issue of calls not being answered and calls being dropped. Jacob apologised and said that there were only 2 staff dealing with incoming calls. This is the information I have been given by UR but make your own minds up. Hope this helps others.
