Bought a refurbished iPhone 14 which arrived securely and quickly. The phone was blemish free. Very happy with the purchase and the follow up customer service satisfaction review from Wendy. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from UR again.
I recently used UR.co.uk to sell my device. Initially, they offered a decent quote, but once they received the device, the final offer was reduced — something I understand can happen after inspection. However, after accepting the revised quote, we are now beyond the timeframe they originally stated for payment, and I have still not received my money.UPDATE - I have now received the money offered, as per the response below. Happy with how quick this was resolved after leaving a review. After checking other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated issue. It seems their third-party payment processor is causing significant delays. UR.co.uk really needs to either rethink their payment partner or be much clearer upfront about the true lead times for payments. As it stands, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Would recommend proceeding with caution.
Do not bother using this company to sell your phone. They deliberately give the best price when initially offering for any device to get as many people as possible of to send phones. Only to offer way below any other companies. Then payment will be held for weeks in my case. Over 10 working days when this day and age payments are instant. Do not waste your time with them
Got made an offer of ?191 instead of ?495 quoted and when I declined they added on ?20.. I left a 1 Star review to which I then received a call from a female called Lucy.. she said she’d see if I could get full price.. another female ‘supervisor’ then came on the phone and stated I was rude and swore at her staff.. we had a little tiff and that was that.. got told they could then offer me ?360 or the phone back.. I accepted cause it’s more hassle the other way.. by the end of the call all was fine and they confirmed my bank details with me.. I may of been a little hostile but Lucy was lovely really.. as discussed with Lucy I do believe this company could benefit from certain changes which they are currently sorting out.. I thought it was strange how people’s bad reviews were changed.. I was asked to delete mine.. BUT after we were on the same page I would’ve changed mine anyways it is disappointing not receiving the price quoted but there’s not much to be done as it’s dependent on the phones condition.. overall I’m now a happy customer.. lovely long review to make up for any hostility.. Lucy you seem like a fab person you’ve got lovely people skills and plenty of patience! Thanks guys ????
