Review Time
So I book hotels for my drivers a lot, However we use CLC Lodging 90% of the time because it clearly describes which hotels have truck parking with some accuracy. We operate Hotshot Truck rigs, which are basically 65 ft Dually pickups with 40 ft Gooseneck trailers. They are not the easiest to maneuver and park in most parking lots. CLC doesn't add any additional fees, the price is the price, and usually cheaper than any other travel booking service. However we have found when we are needing to book somewhere that we KNOW has truck parking or extending a reservation like I just did today, Super.com has lower prices than most, and they are a legit, reliable, way to book a room. I say that because there are plenty of sketchy and bait & Switch booking websites online. Some will advertise a low rate, and when you go to book, will tell you that room rate is no longer available. I like to use services that I can trust and know my reservation will actually go through. Now the downside with Super.com is that the rate they show doesn't include taxes and other charges. For example , today I booked a room for $98 a night for two nights, or $196 but the total charges were $219.76 , $23.79 more than they were posted for, Now that I think about it, I would of been just as good staying with CLC lol. I just compared and I save $8.19 total over CLC so that is good to know. Still it is good to have alternate choices and I did use them before to save more than anyone else. I have noticed that they are not always as competitive.
Super+ is app that saves you money on Hotels, but they also provide a GPT service; Which allows you to play games, upload receipts etc to earn money. You can then apply the cash u earned to your Super+ bank card to use at Hotels, stores etc. Well, after 1 year of everything going great, their partner (AdGem) blocked my ID by mistake. They thought I had 2 accounts, when I only had one. Adgem unblocked me, yet Super never fixed the issue within their system. They kept charging me $15 per month - while they claimed to be working to fix my issue. 2 months after no update, I see that my account is still locked. Cant upload receipts or do anything. Once again, there were no violations on my end, Super just has a flawed system & Customer Service Agents who just occupy space. You wont get much help with this company when things go wrong. Because of this, I just closed my account. They warned me that I wouldn't be able to open a new account once I closed my current account, but i really dont give af. The Discounts that Super+ gives for Hotels - I can get those same discounts from 200+ other apps. Fix you alls system. Good Riddance!!Edit: (6/4/2025) in response to the reply, Super+ has has actually had my account locked for almost 4 months (prior to me closing it). Ive contacted them multiple times throughout. Each Customer Rep was vague and just seemed eager to pass off the issue to someone in a "higher department" - yet no one in the higher department ever addressed nor fixed the issue. Contacted multiple Reps. Was told many times that the issue is still being looked into. I received no response from anyone (despite me showing proof from Adgem and showing that i never violated any terms). The only emails that got sent were automated emails about the bank transfer and the fee's that were being charged. No one replied to my inquiries over the 3+ months - so why reply now? Issue has been explained clearly. Please fix your system so remaining customers wont be screwed over like I was.
I'd inadvertently made a booking for the incorrect date due to my correct search criteria but the sites algorithms. I called the hotel directly who were more than happy to change the date & only wanted Super.com to request the change. After numerous conversations thru the app because you can't actually talk to a real person, that request by me was declined. I was trying to book in for tonight 19/6 because of a medical procedure at 8am tomorrow morning.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ( owned by EXPEDIA) & expect any help if you make an error.
they have no refund or change policy. If you book, then need to change your schedule, you are out of luck. One CSR said he would accomodate my change, but was overruled by another CSR. They have the ability to help, they just don't want to and would rather keep the money you paid.
