I find it interesting that they have

I find it interesting that they have asked for reviews when their customer service isn't great. Slow replies to maintainance emails. Specific avoidance of certain questions about mould in our flat. Their portal states a time you should get a response in, it's gone way past that. The day we picked our keys up, everyone was cracking beers open in the office and it wasn't the most friendly of experiences. I emailed a question and never got a response (although that was to a personal email). We were previously with Adair Paxton, who were absolutely amazing in comparison, and so quick to deal with issues.

Disappointed Landlord

I rent a property through this company in York. Their good points are, they are quick to find tenants and so far they appear to be keeping us legally compliant- but thata ? ?s where the positives end. They let both tenant and landlord down in so many ways. Theya ? ?re too hasty to move tenants in, resulting in poor service for the tenant and embarrassment for the landlord. Therea ? ?s bad communication between departments. Never available to speak to and dona ? ?t return calls. Their service includes property inspections which miss the most basic of things youa ? ?d expect a letting agent to check between tenants. For instance- do the taps work? does the heating work? can the windows be secured? What state was this property in when we started managing it- what state is it in now? I wouldna ? ?t recommend this company to landlords or tenants because theya ? ?re too focused on financial turn around over quality of service.

Olivia Gascoigne was a great help

Olivia Gascoigne was a great help during the leasing of my property to a new Tenant.. Various delays occured due to unforeseen work needing to be carried out and Olivia behaved in a very professional manner keeping the new Tenant informed at all times and providing any required help. I highly recommend her to any Landlord/ Prospective Tenant.

Keep away from this agency

Keep away from this agency. Since reporting the boiler issue on September 27, 2024, I have faced nothing but delays and unhelpful responses. Despite multiple follow-ups, the letting agency has shown a lack of urgency, treating my situation with indifference. I was informed that I was on a waiting list for repairs, yet no clear timeline was provided. I have been told to contact the contacting technician by ourselves by the person who in-charge our case in city branch. After contacting IPS directly, I managed to get a technician who reset the boiler, only for it to fail again within hours. Subsequent appointments were either rescheduled or resulted in further complications, including a pump replacement that did not resolve the issue. All the above I did my own, L&S Leeds City Branch didn't involve any. On October 10, I again reached out to the letting agency, and despite their assurances, I received the same unhelpful response as before. Even after classifying the situation as an emergency, the agency continued to ignore my requests, and no any compensation due to the caused. I have sent a couple email to the property manager have gone unanswered, and I have had to escalate my concerns by contacting the area branch manager and even the CEO of L&S but no respond or acknowledgement yet. It is not possible to early terminate the contract and get back your upfront even though they can not provide a warm and comfort home for you. The tenancy agreement only protect the Landlord and agency to earn you money. It is unacceptable to experience such poor service and communication during an urgent issue like this. I would strongly advise potential tenants to consider other letting agencies that protect your tenant welfare and timely response. Go for it if you want to waste your time and money. Enjoy you lovely winter without a boiler.
