Review Time
I feel I was up-sold on a package I didn't need - and haven't seen any positive traction from it. I was promised help with a SSL certificate, never was it explained that was an additional fee through my host and that you would *help* set it up. My site is slower than ever, and yesterday's TrueShield stats were worse than before.
My site had malware and was taken down by my hosting company. I was help hostage by internet hackers and felt helpless until I spoke with someone at Sitelock. My small business was feeling the effects of no site even though only 24 hours had passed. Sitelock quickly had my site free of malware within 4 hours and I was able to call my hosting company right away and they restored service asap. Now I can sleep tonight! thank you!
Beware! If you move your site, or for any reason don't want to continue to use their service, it is VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL. You can't cancel via their online portal. They require that you speak with someone, but for the past 2-3 weeks they've had ridiculous wait times. Then, if you don't cancel within the 30 days by their count, you won't get a refund. Note, their reminder that your account will be automatically renewed comes only 10 days prior to the cancellation date, so yet another trap. So much for "Customer Success"!

Sitelock alerted me about malware on my website even when I didnt have a contract with them. They are with my host but only in a slight way. I then got messages from Google about suspicious activity..confirming Sitelock's claim. I called Sitelock after insuring they were legit and both parties I spoke too were friendly, reassuring and answered all my questions before I signed up. They didnt just push the most expensive service and completely explained each service. Within a few hours the malware was gone from my site and they continually kept me updated..plus you get a dashboard to keep tabs on things as well. One of the best customer services experiences I've had with any company.
