Review Time
I was forced to get an account with Sitelock when my website was hacked (I was using HostGator as hosting provider back then). The account is expensive, and I was forced to pay for a whole year membership.I've tried to cancel my account several times and it has been a horrible experience. Emails get answered about other matters, but as soon as you mention cancelling, they get ignored.I ended up calling them, and the extensions I was asked to press to talk to sales led me to some other company who had nothing to do with Sitelock and could not help me at all. I tried again, and I end up talking to some other company that again ISN'T Sitelock, although the original answer machine said "Thanks for calling Sitelock". After another attempt, I finally ended up talking to a billing rep that was most kind and quickly cancelled my account. I have no complaints about Steven, but the overall experience with Sitelock has been very bad. I will never be a customer of theirs again.
Lost my business this year, so canceled my website renewal with bluehost . Sitelock just charged me 86 dollards for next year on a website I haven't got anymore. Impossible to get hold of them. US number that I can't afford. My renewal day is not until the 12th of September. They called themselves a tech company!!!!!No Effing email that I can find. FUMING!!!!!!!!
