Glyn Hopkin Garage WatfordI have always had my car serviced here - and the team are excellent. I returned to trade in and purchase another nissan and have had a grim experience with the sales teams and service. Waiting around, poor preparation, even worse cleaning/valeting. I brought my car for a cosmetic repair (caused at the garage). Three hours later the car is returned to me with my seats, steering wheel and inside door utterly dirty/marked by the repair work. I cannot begin to express how fed up I am with poor service, poor communication and a lack of professionalism.

A very disappointing vehicle repairs experience!

In October 2023, I took my 2019 Registration Nissan Qashqai which had done approximately 7500 miles to Glyn Hopkin dealership at 1021 Romford Road in East London for a minor repairs.They recommended changing a High-Pressure Pump that costs around ?500 and a total invoice bill of almost ?2700. They promised a two-day repair work. However, it took a couple of months to get my car back with the fault still not fixed and almost ?2700 out of pocket.Nothing has changed regarding the fault on my car and it's been a very disappointing experience!

Don't Bother !!

MG in Chelmsford....Keep well clear !! Went in to purchase a MG4 Xpower. Thr salesman Andy wrote us off the minute we walked in as times wasters (car since purchased from a different dealer) he made sexist remarks about "women drivers) and we incredible aragant, the prices on the cars were ALL incorrect to the point where we had to point this put to them and they went and removed all the prices as there realised we were correct. They lied about the costing and what was Included against what wasn't and when we questioned this as we had the figures in front of us we got told "I just get the numbers I don't make them up" if I coukd give a 0 start rating I would, keep reading the reviews and you will see to stear clear of this group and go elsewhere

Had a terrible experience with this

Had a terrible experience with this place. tech guy is lier new fault come up on dash after putting my head lamp unit put on.which initially I went for. If something comes up and you could not fix then do not blame to customer. I never had this new issue in my car When I dropped off why you lied and said I had that already. you took my bonnet off to put on my headlights unit on now it’s showing bonnet malfunction that’s clearly something not put back on simple.but you Glyn Hopkin decided to blame on me saying I had that already before what is this are you for real.. bunch of lier I will not take

Glyn Hopkins Kia Romford servicing/MOTDO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO CARRY OUT SERVICING.Brought a new car 7 years ago (current mileage 29,000) and since then I have always had my car serviced as a Kia garage. Obviously the first 3 years there is not MOT. But the next 4 year each time I went to this garage they kept saying certain things need changing on your car. The last visit in 2023 I was charged ?800 for servicing and MOT. Glyn Hopkins (Kia) then said in 2024 I will need to change 2 tires and the rear break pads. I went back to my old reputable garage that I used to use for over 20 years for servicing and MOT before I brought this Kia car and it only cost me ?245 for servicing and MOT, and they said I did not need the break pads changed or the 2 tires and the mileage on my car is extremely low.Glyn Hopkins (Kia in Romford) is not a trustworthy company. Very disappointed! Even one star is too good for your company!

Terrible experience

I want to express my dissatisfaction with the condition of the new MG4 I purchased from your dealership in Milton Keynes a month ago. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I am compelled to raise the following review.Upon collecting the car, I immediately noticed that the external paintwork was in poor condition, and also two visible scratches. The interior was equally concerning, with numerous scratches and marks on both the dashboard and doors. Frankly, the car did not appear to meet the standards expected of a new vehicle.I raised these concerns with the salesperson at the time of collection, and it was agreed that the dealership would rectify the issues. However, after returning to collect the car, I found that both the exterior and interior scratches were still present and had not been addressed. Despite sending two further emails to bring this matter to your attention, I have received no acknowledgment or response.I am extremely disappointed with both the condition of the car and the lack of follow-up on your part.

Glynn Hopkins have provided the worst

Glynn Hopkins have provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their staff are both dismissive, complacent and rude, yet ask you for a 10/10 review!

Problem identified in August - still no response

I have been waiting since August for a replacement part to fix a known fault. Initially I received the occasional text update, but these stopped in October. I have subsequently found out that they have marked the fault as resolved on their system. It has not been rectified. It takes at least 5 phone calls to get through to anyone to talk to. More often than not, you get a voicemail. No-one ever bothers to call back and I am left with no resolution to this long standing issue. Given that this issue relates to the brakes - how can I be confident that the car is safe to drive. After such a positive sales experience initially, I would not recommend Glyn Hopkins given the time it is taking me to resolve this issue facing complete disinterest from the service team and lack of any semblance of customer care.

APPALLING AFTER SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE

APPALLING AFTER SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICEAnything I have needed done since purchasing my MG ZS in 2022 has been a totally incompetent, unacceptable service. Today my experience has again been unacceptable. Having broken down on Friday 10/05/24 with a clutch problem I was recovered home. Unable to contact Glyn Hopkin on Friday or Saturday I spoke to someone this morning as part of the 7 year warranty. I was advised they could book it in for 30/05/24 to have a look and assess it and it would be most likely be wear and tear and not covered by warranty, 19000 miles and 2yrs old!! I advised I had arranged recovery from my home today to recover the car to the Waltham Abbey branch. Just had a call from the branch to advise they have received my car and it would be at least a week before they can look at it. As a disabled driver this greatly impacts on my daily life. During a previous service I had to wait weeks for them to obtain a part and the service itself took in excess of 6hrs although I had been advised two hours. Such a shame as I loved the car but would never buy another MG solely due to the after service and care I have received.

Shocking company

Shocking company , always calling when they want to get a sale over the line , but as soon as my 8month old Dacia jogger got an electrical fault they don’t want to know even though I don’t have a front indicator light and several fault codes they won’t look at it for 2 weeks I was promised 3 times St Albans Dacia would call me never got a call and when I said I’m going to need a courtesy car , was told they don’t have any and I’d need to claim through my insurance for when they finally look at my car even though no indicator means il have to drive illegally , never again will I use this shambles of a company , hopefully this review will save someone the grief of this company , do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.
