Between head office and branch there is no communication

Leading up to service I received numerous emails and texts saying the service was off then on so I made numerous phone calls getting the appointment confirmed then turned up and...What a bad service after talking to Cameron yesterday at head office when I turn up I'm told the booking was yesterday but it wasn't as I was in hospital and could not be in 2 places at once. Your staff have started a new job but when I said I'm waiting they said it not a wait job so asked for spare car and told there are none.Trying to contact branch is terribleWhat a shambles....Last year I used the Bedford branch with no issues so avoid mk branch

Chelmsford branch now as Romford branch closed Car is still in warranty and the media screen has what looks like liquid leaking out of screenPhoned and send pictures, booked in for inspection was told it will cost me over ?2000 for a replacement Said under warranty so now for the next two and a half years, after another three inspections was told yeah this will get done Every time I contact them it’s a new member of staff and they know nothing about this even though I have proof of past emails and status reports Nothing but false promises to waste time so your warranty runs out making you pay for repairs yourself The screen is unusable it keeps sensing it being touched with anyone touching it Satnav don’t work and as everything is controlled by this screen it turns on and changes settings This car is now becoming dangerous to drive Garage even at one point blamed us say it’s liquid damaged like something has been spilt from the top and damage to screen even though not sign of marks to screen In the end we gave up with Glyn Hopkins They are fine when you order your car but after sales are useless I will never use Glyn Hopkins agains and urge everyone to do the sameIf anyone from Glyn Hopkins reads this don’t bother replying with, sorry for the one star contact us it’s to late if you had bothered in the first place then you might still have us as customers Also it seems funny how after a few bad reviews magically they get a five star one about the showroom that got bad ones makes you thing they are fake reviews Update,If you can assist me, to little to late,Personally every member of your staff needs to go on a training course, from reading the majority of the reviews Even the so called managers are aggressive, other staff seem to not care in the slightest, no wonder you have such a high turnaround of staff

Nothing seems to go right with this Company

Nothing seems to go right with this Company. I tried to book an appointment for a software upgrade for my Nissan Leaf in response to a product safety recall. I was told I could have a ‘while you wait’ appointment lasting one hour.I called them twice, on each occasion no-one answered the phone, I left a message and no-one called me back. I then tried the Nissan central customer service who were helpful and booked me an appointment for today.I have received multiple message from Glyn Hopkin to ‘check-in’ online in advance. When I tried to do so I found that they had input the wrong info for my address - there was no way to change it. I called Nissan customer service who apologised and told me to do nothing, just turn up at the booked time and the work would be done. I duly turned up to find that they had booked the wrong type of appointment and I was expected to leave the car with them all day. I have had to re-book a ‘while you wait’ appointment for another day at considerable inconvenience.I do not have this type of experience with other Nissan dealerships.

Keen Sales poor after care

Sales were keen to start with however I had a problem with my car before a holiday and ultimately left stranded. The PCP side couldn’t say why I was refused credit even though my credit score is 999 so I couldn’t change my vehicle either. Apparently their loan cars are mostly EV so that’s also a fail for me as it wouldn’t suit our driving holiday. MG took a deposit and apparently 10 days for a refund so I’ll probably end up paying interest on that in the long run. Unfortunately looks like they missed out on a loyal customer but that’s life. I’ll probably go for a more reliable brand and dealership next time round

Be careful

Be careful. I bought a car which was less than 2 years old & with 6k on the clock. Within months, it started breaking down (on motorways). Turned out to be spark plugs; the garage ‘amazed’ at a car of this age having this problem. Awhile later, I was told I needed all four tyres replaced, with another garage saying they were ‘amazed’ a car of this age and mileage would need them. My conclusions? Maybe bad luck, maybe something else, but be careful.

Glyn Hopkins Nissan Milton Keynes

Glyn Hopkins Nissan Milton KeynesI’ve taken my car in to Glyn Hopkins 4 times because my speed limiter/cruise control wasn’t working.1st time- they do the diagnosis and tell me it’s because it needs a new part which will fix the problem.2nd time- they put the new part in and tell me it was fixed. I drive away and notice it’s still not working.3rd time- weeks later until I can get back in and I take it in and this time it’s a wiring fault. They tell me it’s fixed and I drive down the road and it isn’t working again.4th time- I take it in to them again. I got a call this afternoon telling me there’s 2 issues they’ve found and the total cost to fix it is ?3,000. The first diagnosis and fix I paid for and claimed back through the warranty as I’d recently bought the car. Now however it’s out of warranty and they want me to pay them ?3,000. Not only do I not have faith it will fix the issue after all this back and forth but I also don’t have ?3,000. And it was admitted to me over the phone that this fault was always there they just didn’t catch it the first few times they checked. And I was told they would not cover the cost to fix it. Which they should do. I’ve submitted a formal complaint to the customer care team so we will see how they chose to deal with this. If they don’t cover the cost I’ll be going to the Motor Ombudsman.

Glyn Hopkins Cambridge (Jeep) Total let

Glyn Hopkins Cambridge (Jeep) Total let down of Motability customers! First we found out they couldn't service my Jeep anymore for no apparent reason (they were very cagey and nervous to say much) then we found out just before Christmas from a friend that they were closing COMPLETELY! No one has informed us as we are coming to the end of our current lease and wanted a new one, this is shocking treatment of disabled customers who RELY on their car. The very least they could have done was to telephone all their Motability customers to inform them of where they should take their cars from now on but NOTHING!! Loyal customers for nearly ten years counts for nothing, and if your disabled then their attitude seems to be “Screw you!”. The remaining showrooms and service centers should be AVOIDED at all costs! They do not care for anyone! We now have to go to Motorvogue at Kings Lynn who have been fantastic & simply cannot believe that Glyn Hopkins have done this to potentially thousands of disabled clients, let alone the general public! DO NOT USE GLYN HOPKIN’S! In addition when we went to the showrooms in December they wanted to sign us up for a new car there and then, no mention of closure, thank god we didn't sign up as now we would be left feeling even madder about there complete lack of decency & morals. Also I was hospitalised due to a silent heart attack in 2021 & sometimes they were telephoning my non-driving wife 4 or 5 a day, bombarding her at a extremely stressful time about a service that wasn't even due at that exact time. Also in 2022 a M.O.T. picked up that the tyre repair kit was out of date, this has never been replaced by the cowboys at Glyn Hopkins so Motorvogue are kindly sorting this out before our new car arrives. GLYN HOPKINS ARE A DISGUSTING COMPANY WHO DESERVE LIQUIDATION.

Tried to charge me >560 gbp for an issue with my Leaf charge port hatch not closing properly. Luckily I did some research online before agreeing to the work and found it could be fixed in 5 mins with a screwdriver and a bit of lithium grease... crazy to think how many people would have just paid the money assuming they knew what they're talking about.

I have a lease car that I do not own and pay a flat monthly fee. However, each time I bring the car in for a service, mot, repairs; I have to pay ?35 for their insurance. They said if the invoice is not paid, they will keep the car.

Dangerously overfilled my brake fluid

Dangerously overfilled my brake fluid reservoir during a routine service, only noticed it a few days later when brake fluid started dripping on the ground, whole engine bay covered in corrosive fluid which i had to clean, emailed them & head office to complain with no response, would not trust them to fit a windscreen wiper, avoid at all costs.
