Can't diagnose a broken fuse

Booked my 370Z in to have a TPMS connected to the car, and subsequently for a full diagnostic to ascertain the issue with the TPMS system being non-responsive. Glyn Hopkins Chelmsford were unable to resolve the issue in either case, or provide any options on how to resolve the issue. After taking my car to a specialist the issue was found to be a blown fuse, which I had suggested may be the issue when booked in for the diagnosis. 2 stars because I wasn't charged for either booking

MG garage Chelmsford

Please stay away from MG Chelmsford garage at all costs. I purchased car online and they cancelled my order as apparently they underpriced the car by 3K. They refused to give me the car I purchased via asking price on their website. They only refunded me ?99 reservation fee but not ?16401! Sales Manager blames my bank, system etc but not his staff from finance department. At the call centre people aren't helpful and they keep telling me to wait for my money. They are benefiting from my money and I was told to file complain about the garage to the garage. Unbelievable, I have no doubt their Investigation will be fair and impartial.

Terrible new vehicle purchase

In the process of purchasing a vehicle through Bedford branch. Placed an order for a vehicle that has now been subject to endless manufacturing delays, almost 3 months overdue on a 3 month delivery. As I previously worked in sales for Marshall Land Rover I know this can happen and have been very accommodating.I did however confirm with my salesman that there would not be any financial penalties on our agreed deal through further depreciation of our part exchange and it was confirmed to me that as this was not our fault that would indeed be the case. Yesterday I received a phone call to say that the vehicle would be ready soon but due to Nissans delay my monthly payment would be about ?130 more than agreed and signed for. As we are financing via PCP that is a difference of at least ?4000. Given that I have just fitted an EV charger, at no small expense and been entirely patient throughout this exchange I am absolutely fuming that management could even think of having a rep call up a loyal (third vehicle in a row from them) customer. No outcome as yet, but having worked for Marshals Cambridge in sales I know that I would never have been allowed to treat a customer like this.

Sales people stuck in the 1980's

Attempted to buy a 500ec advertised on Autotrader from the St Albans branch. Told the finance offer they placed to put them top of the search engine didnt exsist. part exchange offered was 20% less than 'we buy any car .com' !!!! When asked to check what financing was available to suit my needs didnt even get a call back.Reminds me of salesmens from the 1980'sAVOID

A shame on Nissan's brand

I am deeply disappointed that Glyn Hopkins, Stamford Hill, is unreliable. On two occasions, when I booked an appointment for my Nissan Leaf 2016, which presented a fault regarding its battery, I had the first appointment cancelled, but I only found out when I got there. This unexpected cancellation caused me significant inconvenience. On the second occasion, for which I had to wait nearly three months for the appointment, I left the car there at 07:31 a.m., and to my surprise, when I went back there at 15:45, I was told that my car would not be checked because on the day before, an oil pipe burst and delayed all the appointments. This is not to mention that the same excuse was given on the first cancelled appointment. I also realised that a gentleman arriving after me had his car checked, even though I was there first and my appointment was 07:30. During my interactions, I noticed a clear preference for more expensive vehicles and those requiring higher service costs. On both occasions, my car was not attended to because other, more expensive vehicles were given priority. The manager on duty even suggested that I sell my vehicle, as they might not have an appointment for a diagnostic scan anytime soon. This suggestion was not only sarcastic and insulting but also condescending to the entire purpose of owning an electric vehicle: contributing to a more sustainable environment. The manager's comment that Nissan's vehicles aren't worth fixing if they are 10 years old only added to the disrespect.

Really poor experience with Glyn Hopkin

Really poor experience with Glyn Hopkin MG at Mill Hill today. I'd paid the ?1,000 deposit last week to buy a used MG for my daughter and we were told to come in at 12.30 pm today to collect the car, which had been transferred across from another Glyn Hopkin dealership over the weekend to have a service and MOT. When we arrived, we were told they hadn't done anything with it as they wanted us to confirm that we still wanted it. We had a look around and my daughter had a test drive, with which she was happy, so we confirmed we would complete the purchase. She noticed one of the tyres looked a little low on tread depth and specifically if it was all ok and this was confirmed. They asked us to give them 30 minutes to prepare the car, so we went off for a bite of lunch. On returning, the car was still not ready, but we completed the purchase in anticipation of driving it away once it was ready. We asked for a copy of the MOT information and the salesman (Mabs) went off to find it. When he returned he admitted that the car had failed the pre-MOT checks for tyre tread depth. A replacement tyre had been ordered on Sunday and would take 3 to 5 days to arrive - so zero internal communication ! By this time it was 2.30pm and my two young grandchildren with us had finally had enough, so we had to depart without the car or an opportunity to really discuss what had happened. My daughter has a long journey planned for Friday and the weekend and is now really concerned she won't have a car in time. Really not a good experience at a main dealership, where their key selling point for paying a higher price for the car was their service, expertise and local reputation. Well I don't think much of any of those three things at Glyn Hopkins MG in Mill Hill ! All they needed to do was tell us before we left home this morning of the issue & we could have re-scheduled to avoid all this frustration, plus they would not then have had the opportunity to take my money and not provide a car in return.

Booked a service well in advance at

Booked a service well in advance at Glyn Hopkin Bedford, they sent an online check-in a few days before, which I duly filled in, they phoned the day before to remind me of the appointment and also confirmed it by a text message. When I arrived the service staff knew nothing about the service and were not being that helpful until I showed them the text message confirmation with the date and time on. They were obviously not happy and after some considerable time staring at various screens and creating a work sheet they finally took the keys. I was waiting and the service was supposedly completed and the keys handed back to me in around 45 minutes. So I leave you to make up your own minds as to what sort of service I got.

Over inflation of MOT works. Misleading.

I recently had a finance service on my 2019 Dacia Duster. Bought in March 23.with 45k mileage. Very happy with he sales rep at the time. Clean MOT with no advisories as condition of sale.On its first anniversary at 55k (so less than 1k a month. While booking it in for service pre MOT. It was suggested by GH At Albans I could. Also get the MOT done at the same time.On the day I got a visual inspection video detailing ?1500 worth of work to get it through?Quoting tyres 80% wear, brakes, disks and pads, steering ends.air filters etc etc etcAll totally over inflated costs.I declined the MOT.It was suggested upon pick up by GH, I take it to a local mechanic as it would be cheaper with a smile.I did.It cost ?160 including the MOT.Non Dacia Parts aside. How can you stand by this?I thought by buying from a dealership I would have some after service, assurance and trust. Not so, I doubt very much the service was done properly, as some of the B service operations would have remedied some of the detailed essential works. Upon which You haven't even answered my complaint. Dacia UK have been notifiedShame on you.Never again.Buyers Beware.

Disgusting customer service. (COWBOYS)

Following on from my previous post I contacted glyn Hopkins feedback page to complain at how I have been treated and left ?6500 out of pocket within a short space of time. They seem disappointed That I complained again having offered me a borrowed inflation kit and ?5 worth of petrol for which it would have cost me to travel backwards and forwards to there dealership . I replied to them by telling them that I am disappointed with how I have been treated and asked them to read the reviews on trust pilot and reminded them that it's customers who keep them open i also mentioned that i don't like being told that they are only minor issues and it's not as if the engine has fallen out especially by a so called manager or salesman ,which is just pig ignorant.Oddly enough they have failed to respond. I have parted company with the car I got from them having failed to get any of the issues with it sorted out which is a shame as i liked the car .l would take legal action against glyn hopkin but have spent too much on trying to get the car sorted out.ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING A CAR FROM GLYN HOPKIN SHOULD READ THE REVIEWS ON TRUST PILOT .They should be rebranded as cowboy Motors. They really are an absolute disgrace. 1* is far to good -10 is where they are at. I have never been treated this bad by any dealership and never want to be again. The most valuable lesson I have learnt from this whole experience is to read reviews on trustpilot first and never to use glyn hopkin ever again . Some of the reviews on here from other owners are shocking to see how they have been treated as well, and there seems a similar pattern .Glyn hopkin SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN With immediate effect and do everyone a huge favour. . 57% gave a 1* review speaks volumes .I did ask them again to read the reviews on trust pilot again as they seem to think there customer service is that good. I have not received a reply and I am not expecting to. Glyn hopkin are as toxic as rolf Harris and sir Jimmy Saville. I was also wondering if glyn hopkin is owned by sir Philip Green? Maybe glyn hopkin will receive a Knighthood in the next round when they are handed out.ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING A NEW OR USED VEHICLE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOUR AND GO ELSEWHERE AS YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.(I WISH I DID ). I would hate to see anybody get ripped off and treated like i did.I shall share my experience with as many people as possible and show the photos of the unusable inflation kit, split tyre ,the service book and receipts for what I spent. If potential customers can go elsewhere it can only be a good thing for their own piece of mind and more importantly financially .The latest reviews have not got any better. On 28th january i got a phone call from them asking if i wanted my car booked in to have a tyre replaced which they recommended on a health check which they were not asked to do as the car was in for something else which they failed to sort out.I told the guy on the phone that I was disgusted at the way I was treated by them but they reallly do not care .GLYN HOPKIN ARE NOT TAKING ANY ADVISE FROM ANYONE.CONMEN.I think they are the only dealership where a so called saleman (paul cox)will tell you that he has had six new tyres on his car in the last year .I don't know if he expected me to pay for them or if it was a load of hot air.I don't know why he mentioned it to me as i never sold the car to him and why would I care.Glyn hopkin as a brand have as much credibility as Hannah Ingram Moore, matt Hancock, the legend that is prince andrew, gregg wallace, huw edwards and gino d'acampo. (that is the best comparison i can give). Since my poor quality experience with glyn hopkin I have now diverted four potential customers to other dealerships ( by sharing details with others) I shall continue to share my experience with others. Most businesses seem to be glad of any custom they can get in the current climate whereas glyn hopkin seem to want to lose customers by having top quality non existing customer care .? ? ? yeee Haa .Glyn hopkin are a load of crap
