The actual work was carried out. But throughout the entire experience I felt like I inconvenienced this place throughout the day- and that was just a routine service.Also- why have an online booking service that offers car collection and a check in service via text message that asks when customers want to collect their cars????????? Collection- or courtesy car not offered- which would have swayed my decision to buy a Nissan, if I’d known it ( never even gave it a thought having had more accommodating car brands).I stated a preferred collection time when asked at the time of booking- only to be told collection would be around 5pm, which was definitely not what I asked for.The dealership seems to have no idea what customers are being promised online. And the staff are‘doing their job’, but definitely nothing more. Sorry to have inconvenienced you Nissan Bedford
Was told after one year I didn’t need a service as I’d only driven 1,000 miles. The following year was told as I hadn’t had a service the previous year, I’d need a full service which was ?450. They also lie to customers, by stating if customers have their cars serviced elsewhere, the warranty will be void, this isn’t true! I wasn’t told that the warranty for my pre reg car expires three years after it was registered, as apposed to when I purchased the car. The call centre staff are all thick as two planks of wood. The short middle aged balding service manager, has an awful attitude and blatantly stared at my crouch! They’re Shysters!
If you would like to conduct business with a misogynist (see photo) who drives like an idiot daily past a school (see video) then Glyn Hopkin is the dealer for you. As a street collective, for which I represent, we have filed crime reference no. BCA-69091-24-4242-IR01 against this individual’s abhorrent conduct. It is also worth noting that this individual is not covered by Aviva for his car modifications, and thus, is potentially guilty of insurance fraud. Crooks!!! Failed to fix speedometer in November 23 and released vehicle without telling me anything. It failed again in Feb 24. They took vehicle in for repair on 5th March. They could not find fault and allegedly changed speedometer twice and then found a mileage blocker. This invalidates warranty and they are demanding a payment of over ?3200 for two speedometers used needlessly . They did not inform me of any charge prior or sought consent from me. My vehicle is being held until I make payment. This morning after two months they stole the courtesy car from outside my home. Eddie Kinsey and Jimmy Coughlin are common thugs.
DO NOT GO NEAR GLYN HOPKINS RENAULT ST ALBANS!!! Your car will spend more time there than on the road as they are simply inept at repairing cars in anything like a timely manner!! Car been with them for over 5 weeks and they still can’t give an idea of when it will be done!
Glyn Hopkin at RomfordI purchased a car from the Romford dealer about a few years ago. I was considering an upgrade this summer. I found a nice car available in their stock. I sent an online enquiry and reserved the car with the minimum deposit. Unfortunately my circumstances have changed and have requested to cancel my order. It’s been more than 2 weeks and no refund yet and salesman does not bother replying emails. This has put me off, do I even want to trust these people when there is nothing for customers and it is more about themselves. I am not willing to go back there in future
