Ordered a ?124.71 worth of plants on 13 May 2025 (Order No 700734427). They were eventually delivered on 31 May, damaged and in poor condition due to being badly packed and sitting in the packaging for 7 days - I could tell this from Gardening Express's website and Yodel's website. Gardening Express have not replied to my emails (inc photos) or messages via their website. I contacted my credit card company to raise a Section 75 claim, but have been told that live plants and food are excluded. Gardening Express will be aware of this and act accordingly, knowing that they will not be held accountable. Not the behaviour customers would expect from a company that markets itself as 'The UK's No 1 Garden Centre'. I feel like I've just been robbed of a ?124.71.
Placed an order for two clematis on 10.06.25, money taken from my account straight away, I've not received the order 25 days after placing it. Emailed and filled in the contact form on their website, received no reply, no phone number provided, no communication at all from them. Have had to contact my bank and enter into a dispute just to get refunded. What do you call it when you pay for goods that aren't sent, oh yes, a SCAM!I recommend that the BUYER BEWARE.
Update on previous complaint. I was so fed up with lack of response and seeing others say the same, I wrote a letter to them stating I would take out a small claim. Obviously no reply, so I did take out a claim, just a matter of filling a form in. Anyway, I won and now they have to pay me for plants, expensive postage of letter to make sure they signed for it plus court fee. They have this week to pay up or it goes to court. This was a matter of principal for all the people including myself who have been ripped off by this ghastly company. They take the money and will not stand by guarantees. No integrity at all. If more people do what I have done instead of writing off the money, maybe they will do better or go out of business. They take over a million a year from customers. Mine was only a ?40 some people have lost so much more. Dona??t sit back, take action with these fraudsters.
Ordered a pair of Buxus plants but received only one. Ia??ve tried contacting customer service via emaila??over five times nowa??with no response at all. Therea??s no phone number to reach anyone, which makes this feel like a scam. Very disappointing service. Avoid.
