Review Time
Ordering was easy, Delivered on time , delivered with good package . Ordered 3 packs of 3 Azaleas Good value for money . But , couple of plants have withered and not survived. Unsure why as the other plants from the same order are healthy and growing well. Patio roses r growing well . May see bloom next summer .

Really wanted a magnolia tree but also one that was a little different!! There are a huge variety at Carbeth plants and because they have such a vast catalogue of plants for the garden, I've also now added other items. Magnolia arrived safely and in pristine condition as a root ball which I've transplanted following instructions from their care and knowledge hub. Fabulous company with a superb knowledge of gardens
Not the first time I've ordered from Gardening Express, but definitely the last. Over a ?100 of plants arrived droughted, and in mixed condition, some good, some very poor and damaged. No support, no phone contact or customer service. Single patronising response to my request for a partial refund clearly indicates their well-practised avoidance of "customer service". Apparently it was my fault for not understanding plants, how they grow, are transported or cared for. They "apologised" for my disappointment and confusion! I remain disappointed, but not confused, except by how they continue to trade. Showing 29% 1-star ratings on Trust Pilot?? Buyers beware, try elsewhere!
Don't waste your money. Spent a ?70 on plants that look nothing like the photos, arrived damaged and barely even looking like a plant. One of them specifically said in bloom but couldn't be further from it, just twigs. Wouldn't ever order from them again.
I have always found garden express have a good all round service. Albeit, the last 2 deliveries were not really up to par. I ordered 2 patio roses. When they eventually arrived one was perfect, the other not so good. We nurtured it but alas couldn't revive it. I am hoping that when the new season starts, it will have a come back, i am not holding my breadth, Generally garden express is excellent and have not wish to complain over one item lost.
Ordered two lots of patio fruit trees and was expecting to receive 8 trees. Pleasantly surprised to receive 12! A good variety. However, despite being carefully packed they were extremely dried out, some with minimal roots, one with none at all. They were soaked and planted and I remain positive. If half survive I will be happy. If none survive it was worth a gamble and a lesson learnt. Plants want to grow so fingers crossed.
