Gardening Express is something of a misnomer, they get their excuses in from the outset saying it may take 15 working days to deal with your order blaming potentially busy periods and busy couriersWell I placed my order on 4 June and it finally arrived today, 2 July, but at least it's the same yearDon't bother chasing them up as you'll just get an automated email repeating the above excuses and directing you to "your account" which tells you absolutely nothing about your orderIf you do finally get to contact them by email don't include the email conversation history as it apparently sends you to the bottom of the queue!All in all a truly frustrating experience coupled with an almost total lack of customer service - a nice plant in the end but I won't be using this outfit again
I purchased a canary date palm from Gardening Express. When it started showing signs of distress (droopy leaves), I contacted the company asking for basic gardening advice.They responded by telling me they would not help, and instead provided generic links instead of any actual advice. When the leaves started yellowing a couple of weeks later, I contact them again pleading for some simple advice. Their second response was even worse - they launched into their guarantee policy when I wasn't even making a warranty claim. I simply wanted some plant care advice as a customer.When I clarified that I was asking for gardening guidance, not a replacement, they completely ignored my email. Their customer service feels like they're actively trying to avoid helping customers rather than providing any support.If you're looking for a company that will actually help you succeed with your plants after purchase, look elsewhere. Once they have your money (and this plant was not cheap), it seems they couldna??t care less.Very disappointing.
Poor customer service. I ordered worth more than 50 pounds. Received my order after 18 working days. The patio roses dead they promised as it comes under bare root guarantee asked to send a photo. Ia??m keep on sending emails and photos no response from them yet.
First time ordering from Gardening Express, I ordered 3 salix trees I was a little nervous as hadn't ordered from here before and had no idea on the quality I was going to get but I am SO thrilled with them, arrived within the week, well packaged and they are beautiful- thank you! Would highly recommend
Will never deal with them again. I ordered plant May 27 2025. leadtime on website says 5-7 working days. 3 weeks later no plants so I tried to cancel my order. Not possible and no phone number to call. I contacted my bank to cancel the transaction and amazingly the next day some plants were shipped. The remainder showed up Jul 4th. Both times the plants were thrown in a box and an arrived on their wide. Half will likely die. Also check their other Trustpilot account where the reviews are much worse than here. If I had known they had another site with bad reviews I would not have bought from them. I can only assume that many of the good reviews on here are bogus.
