Review Time
Careful if using a comparison site first. Seems like it sends a condition not recognised by UR resulting in lowered offers. Customer service willing to sort out after being notified of the 1 star rating. Unfair to judge process when I never challenged the automated process so change to average rating, given the time it's taken from start to finish!
Much the same as most peoples reviews on here that phones are sent off and offers accepted but no payment received and customer services do not answer the phone - effectively these people have stolen my phone please do not use this company.
Don’t waste your time trying to sell your phone. They give you an online price then when they receive your phone slash ?100 off it because it has 85% battery life and very very slight scratch on the screen. They’ll then try to negotiate with you. Save yourself the hassle and don’t use them.
Offered a price that was half the original price. They revised this which is still more than ?50 less than originally offered. After 7 business days, now 2 weeks, they still haven’t paid for the phone and are refusing to send the phone back. Be very aware of this company. EDIT: After leaving the review, someone called Lucy called who said it was supposedly a third party company who deals with payments, apparently looking into doing it themselves. She sent the money over within a matter of minutes (3) and increased my value to the original value amount. Found it strange that they can pay in minutes when a review is written about them but until then you get nothing.. anyway, after 2 weeks and constantly ringing them, it took a bad review to sort but now it’s been paid into my account. All they want now is the review to be removed or edited..Just thankful it’s now sorted
I had a problem with the first offer so I reach out to UR and they contacted me in a timely manor they returned my call within 10 minutes. Kimberly was very understanding and explained the process UR use to evaluate phones once they receive them because they use a third party not all the facts are shared and the offer figure can be miss leading. Always speak with UR before you accept the offer.
They enticed me in with a high offer of ?182, then once I sent my phone off, revised it down to ?60.50(!). Once I rejected that, they increased the offer to ?85, and again to ?120. I ended up selling the phone for ?150 with Mazuma. The business plan is clear, initial high offer to get you to send your phone away and then hope that you can't be bothered with the hassle and accept a fraction of that. A disgusting practice.
