Review Time
I was offered ?149.00 for my mobile with no issues other than minor scratches. They offered me a revised offer of ?15 due to screen burn (I was using this phone up until I sent it with no issues) which I've rejected and then it was upped to ?25, then ?30 which again I reject. Just send me the phone back. I advise you recycle your mobile with someone else.
Sent the Mrs phone which has never been used without a full cover on it, phone was like new, low and behold they have halved the offer as there was found light scratches on screen and back cover. Absolutely not the case. I have cancelled and asked for my phone returning, I have my own phone packed ready to send today also but will not bother now, I will look for a decent company. Following a phone call from Lucy, the offer has been corrected, A shame this happened but, how many bad reviews before you realise there is a real problem, I found this company through moneysupermarket and put the phone as good condition, ( Not Excellent ) nowhere did moneysupermarket or UR explain the phone had to be direct from manufacturer or as near as, the photos I received are a mark on the screen which will rub off, it's a deposit from the cover that I left it in for postage. And two miniscule scratches, which I do not believe where there when it left my possession.
After re-negotiating the price offered, I agreed to sell my phone to them, that was on 1st of May, and as of today, 9 May, I have not received my payment, I have contacted them via phone and they used the excuse of 'working week & Bank Holiday' and said they are looking at Tuesday 13 May - how can they justify this delay, had they put the payment through as agreed on Thursday 1st May I would have received it either next day or at most Tuesday 6 May - I am left asking myself if this is a reputable company ? Update;Following my review UR.co.uk contacted me and have apologised for the delay in payment and paid me in full today - I am pleased with the outcome and wish to state I was complaining about the length of time to receive payment, and as a result I thank them for the speedy resolution I would be happy to use them again.
Went online and was given a price for the phone, which was reasonable. However once it was sent off they decreased their quote considerably, claiming minor scratches on screen of which are there none. Took ages to get phone back and sent it back without the original box. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Very poor service and try to con you out of money. Will be taking my phone to a reputable company for resale instead.
On receiving my phone they offered me a much lower price than first suggested. Rejected the offer twice and they upped it twice, I eventually accepted. Two weeks later I still had not received payment. I rang and was on hold for a long time, the phone kept cutting off. Eventually spoke to someone who said there had been a typing error in the bank details and it had bounced back. They said it has been sent but still not received any money, now three weeks after they said it was originally sent. Edit to add: Since adding this review I have had phone calls and emails from the company offering to explain what happened. They said it was due to my sort code being written down incorrectly. They’ve offered me the full original price for my phone as compensation for waiting almost a month with no payment, and then sent me the money the same day. The customer service team were very helpful.
