Review Time
Sent in my Google Pixel 8a (Never dealing with Google again but that's another story) I did request a prepaid envelope (found out they don't send boxes anymore, so make sure to have something to put your phone in to secure it, they just give a bag now) and they never sent it out, but did the second time. I got a message today saying my phone was being processed and checked and I got offered ?176, but after checks they offered ?136, saying there was some light scratches on the screen. I rang up annoyed as I had always had a screen protector on my phone from the first day, I used a guerilla glass screen protector, had always been in a case and I had the phone 6 months before switching, it was literally brand new.Told them I wasn't happy with the offer and the lady I spoke to was amazing, went off and checked, called back 2 minutes later and had revised it back to ?176, payment has gone through it says so just waiting on it reaching my bank.Company seem like chancers, I had the same thing with my Google Pixel 6a, which I had for 1 year, and they said there were marks on the back, but screen was immaculate and some people might be fussy about a small mark (even though that was in a case, Pixel 6A back is made of a weird plastic, they fixed that with the 7a and 8a). But even though they tried to get a phone they could sell for ?350 and pay me ?176 and then try to chance gaining an extra ?40 by offering me ?136, the issue got resolved by the lovely lady there called Cerys, within minutes.I hope she stays on because people like her keep companies like this with a good name.
Originally had some issues but have now been resolved. Upon sending my phone the price had dropped quite considerably. After asking them to send me my phone back I got an improved offer that I was happy with. Hadnt received money for 10 days so raised the issue with them. They have now agreed to make payment along with a gesture of goodwill. Customer service team were helpful in getting it resolved.
