I booked a hotel through Super.com, and 5 days later they attempted to charge my card $15 for a "Super+" membership I never knowingly signed up for. Fortunately, my card declined the transaction.Upon investigating, I discovered numerous similar complaints from other users who were unknowingly enrolled in this membership and faced unauthorized charges.
Overall, excellent with regard to pricing difference with membership. I would've been a bit happier if there was an option for service members and veterans. I hope someone actually does read this and get back to me with concern to my stated issue.
The company had the wrong address and hotel for a booking I made. They booked the entirely wrong location and hotel. They claimed they were contacting the hotel(s) to resolve it. Neither hotel was contacted within 24 hours much less a timely fashion.I had to book the proper hotel while on my way to work spending more money.They wouldnt cancel the booking themselves. They are trying to claim non refundable on a booking that they made incorrectly because they have their system set up wrong.The hotel canceled the reservation with no issues after I went in and talked in person. Now Super wont return my money to me and claims they dont have any evidence of the cancelation and that I need to get a bunch of paperwork from the hotel when I'm traveling and the booked day was my last day in the city.They wont call the hotel in question and are acting like I made the incorrect booking.The employees are trained to hang up the phone and refuse to give you a manager even after dealing with this for several days now. This companies customer service is trained in nothing more than trying to rob customers.
I booked a 5-night hotel stay through Super.com (via Trivago), and it was one of the worst travel experiences I'?€™ve ever had. The property (Hygie Boutique Hotel in Montreal) was completely misrepresented: '?€ ? The room was in a cellar, not disclosed in the listing '?€ ? Insect infestation, broken shower, and poor hygiene '?€ ? Extreme noise and an unprofessional, threatening staff memberI left after the first night for my safety and booked another hotel. Super.com refused to refund the 4 unused nights unless I provided documentation from the hotel itself '?€” which had no check-out system and where I didn'?€™t feel safe asking for paperwork.Despite repeated attempts to explain the situation, Super.com closed the case without resolution and took no responsibility. Their response was dismissive and clearly designed to avoid refunding anything.If you'?€™re considering using Super.com, be warned: they'?€™ll happily take your money but won'?€™t help if things go wrong '?€” even in serious, unsafe situations. Terrible customer service and no accountability.
Absolutely horrible experience. Booked a 7 night stay but due to the negative reviews I thought I should confirm with the hotel that they received my booking. Went back and forth with super at least 4 times because they kept canceling my booking and not communicating with the hotel. Once everything was settled. They decided to cancel our hotel booking THE NIGHT BEFORE our trip due to '?€œsystem error'?€ ?. Cost us double the price to book a hotel last minute. Very unreliable and will have no problem cancelling your booking if they are able to sell the units at a higher price. No suggestion for an alternative booking, nothing.
They booked two rooms and misspelled my name. I gave them credit card information and was told by hotel I needed to pay again when I get there. I cancelled with super and contacted my credit card company. Lady at the hotel was no help and couldn't tell me why there were two reservations.
Less than 1 star! Booked a 1-night stay with the insurance that stated No-Hassle/worry-free 100% refund. And 10 hours later, I need to cancel due to a family concern. They push you to a broken process that wants your BANK ACCOUNT information, even if you used a credit card. I refused to upload that information, so I went to chat, and they said that is their process, then they discontinued the chat. I tried to call them, but the phone number is no longer in service. Then I did some research on Reddit and found another number that worked, but they still will not refund my "no-hassle/no worry" insured stay for any reason. The insurance did not work; they wanted "proof" and a doctor's note (ummm, HIPAA?) to confirm. The lady kept pushing back and said that it's their process to obtain my bank account information. I asked her if she would feel comfortable giving her bank account information if she used a credit card, and she wouldn't answer the question, because she knows that's a bit shady. Then they signed me up for some $15/month membership that I did not sign up for, and that was incredibly difficult to cancel as well. Their process was broken, and you had to talk to someone for 20 minutes to get it cancelled. Lastly, there is a high potential for them to double charge you, as I have seen on my PayPal report, but I am waiting to see if it processes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Learn from my $250 mistake.
