Had malware with all hosting/server and all my websites went down (over 10 websites) and they helped me out a lot. they did the scan and kept me up to date. highly recommend them. all my websites will have SiteLock from now on! this can't happen again!
Do not use this company or their product! My website was hacked I paid SiteLock They did not remove the hacker. I contacted them told them their product did not work as advertised and asked for a refund. They refused repeatedly. I ended up resetting my entire website and rebuilding it from scratch. Now they are threatening to block my home page if I don't pay them to renew their service which did not work. Terrible company. Terrible product
Very happy with Adam Gomez he was very courteous and nice to deal with on the phone he answered all my questions.Also super happy with Marilyn Perez she pointed me in the Proper direction and gave me the right package that worked for me. She was also very nice on the phone to deal with.
This it's been the worst experience for me...having my site hacked and on top of that have to deal with very poor customer service, very un polity people and on top of that very entry level knowledge of hacking it's been the worst that could ever happen to me!!!...I can believe that I've been waiting for 3 weeks for this guys from sitelock to fix my site!!...The fool me once, they fool me twice,...they foold me 3 weeks :(
Sitelock has been overcharging me $700/year - been paying that amount since I signed up in May 2019. At the time - I was in grad school and working a fulltime job that required overtime - so did not investigate the pricing - until a few days ago - since I no longer have a fulltime job, I had the time to investigate! I asked when did the prices go down to half the amount that I'm currently paying. The lady could not give me an answer. She said I was paying the old price. I asked why was my price not updated to the current prices. She said they changed all of the prices - but did not have the bandwidth to change the pricing on people paying the old prices!!! The old prices are DOUBLE the updated prices!!! It took 3 phone calls. I hate them. Plus, I found out that in addition to paying Sitelock directly, I was paying for the SAME SERVICE AT A LOWER LEVEL - directly to Hostgator - for $7.99/month! The $7.99 was for Sitelock services - but paid to third party Hostgator!I want my money back from Sitelock, but the lady said that they were within their rights to charge whatever price they wanted! So frustrating! I'm a small business and I barely make a profit! This is totally insane! I asked if I could cancel right now - and get a partial refund for 2025. My renewal date is May - but she said unfortunately they could not do that! After overcharging me for six years(?) - not sure why they could not fulfill my very valid request!
Update 19.09.18:I received a nice call from a member of the SiteLock team named Alek after my comment below who helped me with my concern and assured that I wouldn ?t be upsold again whilst crediting my account with 50 USD.Thanks for the call Alek! I ?ll keep with Sitelock for now and hopefully be able to return to my 5 stars as per my previous rating.Update 18.09.19I changed my review from 5 stars to 3.The security is good, however they have a horrible sales team who try and con you into upgrading the service for fear that Bots and Malware will ear your site alive.I believe this side of the company is very shady so be aware.I am thinking about moving to another security company as I fear that Sitelock may infect my site with the intention of me upgrading and paying even more.Advice: Stop trying to con clients as they will begin to leave such as me in a month or to.Furthermore, there are many websites about Sitelock calling them a scam.Read them well as they are 50% true.
