WHO IS LYING? All my sites and emails went down since 13 May 2020. Hosting is Bluehost (the worst ever, please stay away) and they informed due to malware. Bluehost suggested sitelock to clean malware which i did. Got an email from sitelock that everything is cleaned. Bluehost saying still got malware and suspended my account. Imagine the hassle i am going through with my clients, all their sites and emails are down and bluehost is sending the ball to sitelock and sitelock is not responding.Until now I can see malware files still on my hosting 18May2020 9.37am
Using Sitelock direct with them is a huge ripoff with the amount they charge. I signed up with them a few years ago when one of my websites was hacked. Fast forward, without my paying attention due to a very hectic and heavy workload, I find that they lowered the prices but didn't apply it to me. Plus I've paid them approximately $1300 a year when I could get it from my website host for $285 a year. Sitelock refused to refund anything, even a charge a week ago.It took 3 phone calls, days apart to get Sitelock stopped. The guy answering the phone set up a ticket number and said someone would call me back immediately. It didn't happened until the 3rd call (when I said I would report them to my credit card company and write this review).
I have bought the 911 Scan and am unable to login, the request a new password results in no email to my inbox and the chat function simply says that there are no agents currently available. I can't get through on the phone.I was expecting them to sort this in a day - as their website promises, but I'm left hanging, in limbo with no resolution and $169 out of pocket.No other way to describe this than a theiving scam.
As a 1-2 days customer, I feel so comfortable with site ground, they are very ready to help. I pointed to them my problems and they are working on it right now. They do not ask for much, I am surprised because I have never encountered such great customer service.I am looking forward to implement all the free plug-in and security they provide for us... Of course, my comment will not be of high value since I am just a new customer, but I will acknowledge that I have been satisfied with their performance so far of how they handle their customer...It took less than 24 hours to transfer our files and see our site in motion. My experiences between this agent and the agent from 8/17 were night and day. The agent today was helpful, respectful, and able to solve my issue easily. The agent from yesterday was rude, patronizing, and pretended like he didn't know what to do. I am shocked by the difference in quality between tech support reps.
