I want to send an OUTSTANDING rating to Jeremy Smith, the person who called me. He went above and beyond his job by encouraging me in my desire to help people. He encouraged me to want to keep going. When he called, I was on the road to questioning 'why am I doing this.' He, without knowing it, encouraged me to keep going and that I am doing my calling and purpose. I was thinking about taking down my website, but he awakened that part of me to want to keep going. Thank you, Jeremy.
I believe it's a scam business.- They contact domain managers without invitation- Claim running a scan on the website and that no malware was found- Then second day they will send another email claiming the site is infected- Then boom, within few days they'll send a third email stating that they removed sitelock seal from the site because it's infected! The site never had their seal!!Absurd and false!!
I'm paying $300/month, and the reps from Sitelock told me I needed to go up on the subscription, but when I got the service they told me this is all I was going to need. But now they have sold my private information to third party services (hindi scammers). This company acquired Sitelock recently, Abry Partners LLC, they are in charge of the company now. So basically all my sites were compromised, and now they want to talk to me so I can cancel other than that they dont pick up or communicate with you. It really sucks because I liked their service, I just don't like the unethical practices.If you want to save yourself the headache, I suggest you tell your webmaster to disconnect from this service and look for something better. I don't like this because of this incident all my family are getting spam calls and many other sort of petty and weird things are happening, and you would think paying $300/month would be great, nope they want more money, well I'm moving somewhere else.
They billed me extra several times. my site is not even configured at all. AVOID this service. if you use it, you will hate your life. they have hidden fees. if anyone want to see proves i have them. they even tried to charge me $1.00 which it declined. as my cc provider has told me.
