I have been totally scammed by this company paid for my accommodation,need to go into hospital so wanted to cancel my pre paid accommodation...have been totally ignore by themI live in Australia and will be reporting them to consumer protection...I follow d their rules and they totally ignored me
I inadvertently clicked on this site when planning to book the Holiday Inn, Leith Edinburgh. When I clicked through a ?200 a night hotel on the search page turned into ?440 a night when I clicked book. Scam or rip off, which ever avoid!
I am really happy not having booked a 3 day stay at Heure Bleue Palais in Essaouira through Guest Reservations.com.Hopefully I found out shortly before actually booking that they charge exorbitant fees : for 3 nights at CHF 354 each (total CHF 1'062), the tax and service fees amount to CHF 500 !!! This is unbelivable !!! Exorbitant, outrageous and dishonest !!!I will never ever use Guest Reservations !!!
I thought I was on the actual hotel’s booking site. They offered lower prices for the non-refundable rates. Website was deceptive in pricing with hidden fees. Booking site was on a timer that seemed to have automatically booked my reservation after I had in put my credit card info. I was still in the middle of calculating the total price that didn’t match the lower none refundable rate when the site automatically booked the reservation. I never received a email confirmation number and the phone number on website is automated. I had to select the option like I was going to book a reservation in order to speak to live agent. Beware of this site. The rates are not as stated. My non-refundable rate was $389 per night which ended up being $618 per night after hidden fees. Called my credit card company to put a stop on charges but they told me to work it out with Guest Reservations.
I am very upset and will never recommend nor use this website again. I have made a reservation for one evening in a capsule hotel in Hong Kong. There was a sub-charge, which is more than half of the listed price, and it did not show up until the payment had been processed. This is completely unfair, and there is no way to cancel without losing even more money. This is unacceptable.
SCAM ALERT — Guest Reservations!Do NOT use Guest Reservations — this company is deceptive and in my opinion, criminal.I tried to book directly with the Hilton Waldorf in London, but Guest Reservations disguised themselves as the hotel website. I agreed to a price and paid, only to have my credit card charged €1,882 — €580 more than the advertised price in hidden taxes and fees, with no warning or consent.I cancelled within 4 minutes and received an email confirming cancellation. But no refund came. After a week of waiting, they hid behind tiny print in their “terms and conditions” and refused to refund me. They are now claiming a “no-cancellation” policy — despite the instant cancellation and confirmation.They’ve taken €1,800 from me for nothing — no room, no service, and zero accountability. Thousands of other victims have reported the same thing. Their “customer care” is nothing but an AI bot repeating scripted nonsense. No real person will help.This company preys on travelers, disguises itself as legitimate hotel websites, and steals your money.Please STAY FAR AWAY from Guest Reservations.
They basically take your booking and book through Agoda. Guestreservations.com has no way to contact them (eg. requiring booking codes that they did not give you to cancel a reservation, missing numbers in customer service numbers - 6 digit phone number for the US etc). So I called the hotel and they told me the booking was just made on Agoda. Luckily Amex recognized them as a scam and credited me. But, if you use the reservation, i think it would be ok. However, you can just book on Agoda yourself!BEWARE!
Bad!! Never seen such a misleading and tricky website. Do not use this service as they promise you a 'best hotel rate' but charge you for their 'service' with an extra 30%. Without notifying you. I could only find out when I checked my credit card information. If you try to contact them, you get a stupid chat bot that tells you that the cancellation fee is the same as the hotel price 1100 dollar!). Do not make the same mistake that I did and keep away from this site.Update: after sending an email with my complaints to customercare i have been refunded my money.
