These websites mislead guests by using hotel names in their URLs, making people think they are booking directly with the hotel when they are not.Not only do they charge massive booking fees, but they also offer no real customer support when issues arise. Many frustrated guests have come to our hotel believing they booked directly with us, only to realize they overpaid significantly through these third-party sites. Terrible. bad! do not use them! They never sent me an email confirmation with a booking number or an invoice or anything. They don’t respond to emails. I booked a refundable room and had to scour the internet to find their contact number which actually works - this took ages. They create an illusion that their website is the actual hotel website that you are trying to book. Terrible company! DO NOT USE !!!
Not good. Shows you the normal hotel price, but during the booking process suddenly, unexpected, a much higher price.Taxes. But calling the hotel these taxes, in these high numbers, don ?t exist.When you show a price, it should always be the price you pay at the end.And furthermore it sells the idea you book at the official booking site of the hotel. Which is not true.
What can I say!!! Booked the hotel and thought I was on the hotels website like many other people on this platform. Then my credit card got charged with €500 in service charges!!!!! I cancelled straight away in less than 3 minutes. I keep getting spam emails from guest reservations -- firstly to get prepared for my trip and then a clarification that I cancelled and can rebook with a discount code . I have reached out to customer services and their legal team with the appropriate email addresses but no response as of yet. Don’t patronise me Chantal with a standard response like you have with everyone else . I will let everyone on the platform know if I receive my refund. I will do the honest thing !!!!!! Very unhappy customer
This is a misleading website that shows you better prices for hotels and after you pay with your credit card they add taxes at their own criteria. They charge taxes WITHOUT informing you about it, charging a final price that you did not consent. BE CAREFUL!!! And they add the hotels name in the website address, so it really looks at first as the hotel website. And their phone number do not work. You always end listening to machines telling to contact the hotel.
Terrible experience! They use the hotel's URL to make it look like you are booking with the hotel. However, that is not the case. In our experience, the hotel never received the confirmation. We requested a refund, which was finally confirmed. However, the refund was not received. We are now on the phone with support again, requesting a refund. The support is very unhelpful.
