Automatically charged me for a whole year’s subscription after the free trial ended, with no warning. It was impossible to get into contact with them to cancel. Do not use them they’re ripping people off on purpose – this has happened to many people by the looks of it
I was charged for a subscription i dind agree to, basicly they make you a free trial when you buy whatever and they chage you after the trial ends without a warning, horrible experience, ive talked to them but they say its busisnes policy. 300€ for a 2€ course. Not funny, they are legitimate scammers.
This company is awful. Just like thousands of others (I have now discovered) I bought one course on promotion for 0.99p which seems to have 'signed me up' & authorised them to take ?269 from my paypal 28 days later without any notification. To add insult to injury, if you email them you just get a standard reply that they don't do refunds. They are breaking every consumer law rule in the book & I am in contact with my bank to try & get a refund that way. DO NOT USE!Following their reply - I did cancel on the day the free trial expired, but they'd already taken the money - without notifying me. They also just respond to everything with these useless automatic responses so you go round in circles. Total rip off. And almost to insult you more - your left with 12 months of access to courses you didn't want in the first place. I would highly recommend you don't go near them.
I had a terrible experience with Domestika. I subscribed to Domestika Plus, the amount was charged to my bank account, but my account doesn't show I have the subscription. On top of that, I was charged more than the price shown on their website for the annual plan. Despite contacting support, I still haven’t received a solution or refund. This feels like a scam. Be very careful before giving them your payment information.
I signed up for the free trial of Domestika Plus without realizing it would auto-renew without any warning. I was charged for a full subscription without receiving a reminder or notification before the trial ended.I immediately contacted customer support—three times—and only received one automated reply that didn’t address my case. I have not used any of the Domestika Plus features and simply asked for a refund, but no one has responded since. It’s disappointing to see a platform that promotes education and creativity handle customer support so poorly. There should at least be a proper notice before charging someone, and the refund process should be accessible—especially when the subscription was never used.I hope Domestika will reconsider how they communicate and support their users. Until then, I can’t recommend their service.
I purchased a .99 course for my niece and was charged a $199.99 premium subscription I did not sign up for. I emailed immediately and waited a month for an email from Domestika saying they were researching. I contacted PayPal and they refused to reverse even though I had proof of immediate cancellation-will NOT use PayPal for purchases in the future due to their terrible customer service. My bank would have reversed the transaction automatically with proof of cancellation. Domestika is a fraudulent scam that seems to be based overseas. I can’t figure out who to contact like Better Business Bureau to file an official complaint. Beyond frustrating.
Totally deceptive. I thought I was buying a cheap course an then it austomatically subscribed me to an annual fee for hundreds of dollars to join the plus program. I didnt even realise it had done this. So the next time I bought another cheap course I used a different email address and thought I was just buying a one off course and it did the same thing, signing me up to another plus membership. Had no clue I was signed up until they helped myself to $500 from my bank account. I just feel sick and can't understand how this is even legal. Be careful and DON'T get scammed!!!
Domestika charged me €312.10 for a Plus annual membership even though I canceled the free trial on time – and received written confirmation. Multiple emails from Domestika clearly state that my membership was not renewed. Still, they went ahead and charged my PayPal account. The most outrageous part: I don’t even have access to the service I was charged for. My account shows no active Plus membership. I’m being billed for something I neither wanted nor received.Customer support? Completely unresponsive. No explanation. No resolution. Even my PayPal dispute was rejected, despite providing full documentation.I’m currently reviewing legal options and will also contact consumer protection authorities. What’s even more shocking: I'm clearly not alone. Hundreds of similar cases can be found here on Trustpilot – and Domestika responds with nothing more than copy-paste template replies, showing zero willingness to resolve these complaints. This experience feels borderline fraudulent and deeply unprofessional. If you value your money and your time: do not subscribe to Domestika Plus. This was my first and last experience with Domestika. I expect a full refund. Otherwise, I will escalate the matter publicly and legally.
