I purchased a $1.99 CAD logo design course from Domestika, only to discover a $409.77 CAD charge on my credit card a few days later — without consent, warning, or clear terms. This is a predatory billing tactic.Their customer service is non-existent — only auto-replies, no human help, and the refund form doesn’t even allow customers to submit a complaint.After researching, I discovered dozens of similar complaints online. This seems to be part of a larger pattern of scam-like behavior: luring users in with a cheap course and auto-charging them hundreds for a hidden annual subscription.I’ve submitted a chargeback through my credit card provider and am warning others: DO NOT TRUST Domestika. Avoid at all costs.
Terrible use of dark pattern. I was conned into taking a Domestika Plus subscription by enticing me to go for a Rs 79/- Flutter course -- not only they pushed a 1 year subscription -- they did not give the course at Rs 79/- either. I wrote to them and they gave an automated reply. I have made a complaint to my bank but I don't think that will work out. Terrible. Terrible way to do business
Don’t buy anything from them. They are scamming thousands of people. Just reed through the comments and tweets. There are Facebook groups, changeorg application, hundreds of Reddit chats about this scamIt is not true, I have written to you several times and you have always answered only what you want, there is no room for reasoning with you, there are more than 20,000 people affected.Do not buy anything, they are scammers.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK – DOMESTIKA IS CHARGING PEOPLE WITHOUT CONSENTReview:I was charged $259.64 by Domestika without ever subscribing to anything. I only bought two individual courses, and suddenly I’m being billed for a subscription I never signed up for. I have reached out multiple times, and all I get are automated replies, there’s no customer service, no phone number, no human reply. This is outrageous.I’ve been a loyal customer, purchasing several courses in the past, but this crosses every line. Judging by the number of similar complaints online, this is clearly happening to many people. Domestika is robbing customers and refusing refunds. This isn’t just bad service and it feels like a scam.I demand a full refund immediately.
Do not use Domestika. I was advertised courses for ?0.99 but upon signing up the courses were ?5.99. No help was given - there is no customer service you just get generic emails. When I tried to cancel my trial it did not go through. I have been charged and again no customer service just generic email replies with links to policy articles in Spanish not English. Wish I’d looked here first!
