Don’t even deserve a star but that’s as low as I could go. Absolute vile company hustling everyone that buys a 99p course the subscribing you to a ?200 that’s only mentioned on your receipt which no one will look at because it’s 99p. Do not give them a penny

Fantastic ocean painting course

"Fantastic course! The integration of modern technologies, such as the use of a digital camera and software for image composition, is a major plus. The demonstrations and explanations of painting materials and techniques are thorough and easy to follow. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in painting the ocean."

Charged $354 USD After Free Trial – No Refund, No Response

I was charged $354.68 USD after a Domestika Plus free trial I didn’t knowingly sign up for. The charge was taken from my PayPal account without any clear warning, and I only discovered it after the fact. I hadn’t used any of the courses or services — not even the one I initially signed up for — and I contacted Domestika immediately to ask for a refund.They replied once with a generic message and then completely stopped responding to my follow-ups.I’m a single parent going through financial hardship, and this charge has put real strain on me. I’m disappointed by how dismissive the customer service has been, especially since I hadn’t used any part of the subscription. I’ve since filed complaints with both PayPal and the ACCC.Please be very careful with their trial system — and double-check if you’re logged in and an auto-renewal is active, especially if a child or someone else might have clicked through by accident. I wouldn’t recommend using Domestika unless they change their refund and communication policies.

Total disappointment with the quality…

Total disappointment with the quality of courses, translations, and customer service. Even promotional prices are inflated given the low quality of courses. It is not worth using the promotion. No one will give you your time back and you can't unsee it. Certificates are worthless and no one serious takes them seriously.

SCAMMERS pretending to provide affordable learning!

I would give you a ZERO star if i could Domestika. I dont have to waste my time writing anything because you can read what everyone else is facing - paid $0.99 and get robbed $300 or more with NO WARNING. NO Way out to cancel. NO WAY to remove Credit Card info too! How are they even still allowed to operate! Dodgy is understatement! They are basically daylight robbers targeting people who genuinely wants affordable learning materials. Dont bother replying this comment Domestika. It shows how bloody low life you all are when you do that trying to force your way to look legit. Worst than low grade scalpers and scammers! Cheap living creatures you all are.

Useful information on Domestica Scam

I already wrote about my experience on May 30, the same as almost everyone's here, as I see it... But I wanted to post an update about managing to get a refund from PayPal, and you can find useful information about how to do it in Facebook groups about "Domestika Scam"... I can't post links here, but I followed one guy and his advice (he posted the information on May 15 in a group called "Domestika Scam Fraud Activities") and it worked. Write to PayPal, write to your bank...

SCAMMERS

Fraudulent. They upgraded my account to a PLUS account and charged my card ?270 without my permission. No warning emails. Or renewal reminders. I emailed their support - BE WARNED - their exact message was -If you’re writing to clarify an unrecognized charge, we suggest first checking the Orders and Course Management section in your profile to review your recent purchases. If you previously activated a FREE TRIAL TO DOMESTIKA PLUS, it’s possible that, by not canceling the automatic renewal before the end of the trial period, it was renewed automatically. This is explained during the activation process and is in accordance with our Terms of Use.

DO Not use this platform. They will sneak in a subscription that you are unaware of and charge hundreds of dollars to your credit card and even debit card.

Well-disguised scam

Like thousands of others, I was deducted $190 for a subscription without my consent. I filed a complaint for a refund that was denied, and now that I'm resignedly using "Domestika Plus," I realize that my only benefit is a paltry $1 discount per course. This is a well-disguised scam. It's a shame that so many trained professionals who teach for them have their names tarnished by being part of this site that operates so unethically.

Stop Charging Without Permission, Where’s My Refund

Domestika is so quick to reply here in the reviews, but when we were asking questions and submitted a ticket at domestika.org website about the issues, no respond. That’s why I linked my PayPal account because I couldn’t remove the card information.And just because I added my PayPal account doesn't mean you have the right to use it and take my money without any confirmation from me about whether I want to renew or not.Domestika.org, before you start replying to our reviews, return the money you took first especially the amount that’s even more than what you were supposed to collect.And we don’t owe you anything in the first place. Why couldn’t I remove my card information, and why did I even have to add my PayPal account? Does this have to keep repeating? And why can’t you return the money?
