This is a RIP-OFF. They refuse to refund your money. They do not answer emails. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP-OFF!!!!!!! I can't say it in bigger letters. I wish there was a minus stars that you could give. I am so po'd that I lost $200 to this s***** company.
AVOID SCAM ALERT!!! I woke up to ?280 missing from my account via PayPal- I never knowingly signed up to anything but was charged for an annual subscription and they’re refusing to refund.. I am so so upset, it’s a huge amount of money and I have no way of getting it back, I have tried to contact them to complain but this appears impossible DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
While trying to find a useful manga course, I mistakenly signed up for an annual Domestika subscription. The website led me to this error, charging me for a trial and then for a subscription to a bunch of courses that I am not interested in. I will never recommend this website because it is painful to get a refund for something useless. And adding to that, it is not possible to remove the card number when you are in Domestika Plus.(even if you didnt sign up to that). The subscription is not supposed to renew, but I don't trust this scamming website with my personal information.
They charge you 1 euro for the trial period, and then charge you 300 euros after the trial period, without clearly and loudly announcing it to you. In one of the emails they write in 3pt font size that they will charge you for the service after the trial period. Even I, who can see very well... I don't see that. Let them show us where they clearly informed us during our first purchase that our contract would be automatically extended and that they would charge us an additional 300 euros after that? Scammers
Total scam company. I cancelled on their site, but no acknowledgment was made and instead took nearly ?300 out of my account, without authorisation. Paypal are reviewing, but like others have said I'm unlikely to get this back. Just scroll past them.
A scam company. I have never provided them with my bank details and somehow they got there through a virtual card. No customer support and their policy is abusive for consumers. Had to file a complain with local police and cibersecurity office of national police. Thank you. Don't recommend.
This just highlights how despicably poor Domestika's regard is for their customers. Even on a review sight with numerous consumers highlighting the issue with impersonal, unhelpful automated responses, the company just continues to respond to these reviews with impersonal, unhelpful automated responses. If it wasn't so disappointing it would almost be funny.
SCAM ALERTI woke up this morning to find a $129 charge on my account for an annual subscription I never knowingly signed up for.I had only intended to purchase a €0.99 course, but Domestika sneakily bundled an annual subscription without clear consent — not even a monthly plan, but a full year upfront!Really disappointed & bad experience, please take care from your side if you intend to buy courses on Domestika
