I had a really disappointing experience with Domestika. I purchased a course but realized soon after that it wasn’t what I expected. Unfortunately, they refused to issue a refund, citing their strict no-refund policy — even though I hadn’t started the course.It feels unfair and customer-unfriendly, especially when many other platforms offer at least a 7-day or 14-day refund window. Be very careful before you buy anything on Domestika — once they have your money, there's no going back. They charged yearly my account because I didn't cancel subscription awful roberyI won’t be using the platform again, and I suggest others read the fine print very carefully before purchasing.

No surprises that I never got around to taking the class and have now been charged ?268.96 as a non-refundable annual fee. I begged for a refund via email because I am currently out of work, only to receive an automated response to read the terms and conditions.I REPEAT, DO NOT SIGN UP TO A TRIAL PERIOD.
Massive scam that looks legit (up until a few weeks ago when people started to complain on a large scale). They secretly run your card for more than you consent (no small letters, boxes to tick, no warning of any kind) and make it impossible to remove your card or your data from the site. Not only that it is a huge GDPR breach but also just plain theft. I am curious was this always intended as their business model (one time big teft and close out the site) or do they actually hope to stay in business after this debacle?

I recently purchased one of their ?0.99 online courses, but to my dismay, I found out later that this purchase had somehow signed me up for a year-long subscription, costing a staggering ?269,- which they had just taken from my bank account. Naturally, I was shocked and immediately reached out to them, explaining that this was clearly a mistake and expressing how shaken I was by the unexpected charge. I pleaded with them to please refund the amount, but the only response I received was a reference to their terms and conditions, stating that they don’t offer refunds.I emailed them again in hopes of resolving this issue, but it has been radio silence from their end ever since. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling deceived. So, I wanted to send out a warning to anyone considering purchasing anything from Domestika – be very careful, as you might end up being conned into a costly subscription without your knowledge.Please consider this a cautionary tale and exercise due diligence before making any purchases.Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Watch out their cheap offers (0,99 USD etc) that turn out to be trials... It is a scam. I paid via Paypal. Somehow Paypal (with out asking me) created a continuous payment connection with them and after 30 days they succeeded to charge over 200USD from my Paypal account. Check your settings in both, twice !!!Feels like paypal and domestika are together in this scam that is ethically unacceptable and there will be many more cases like this.
I did a free trial with Domestika and forgot to cancel before I got an automatic subscription. Even though I didn’t use it and cancelled on the same day. I got charged ?170 and they will not reply to my emails or refund me. Very poor business practice and unlawful to not honour cooling off period.
DO not use this learning service. Without authorization they have taken $329 out of my bank account directly. I am disputing this. Their help is an automated response denying all refunds instantly. You can't talk to a real person at all. I should have been able to cancel up to today but they withdrew the money from my bank regardless. Absolute trash of a team.
I made a whole goddamn account to voice my complains.So there's this really cheap deal that gets you a good course for 30 days, that's what lures most people in.You pay the 3 dollars and whatever it is and everything's fine, great even.Then when you try to cancel the subscription it's impossible, and you eventually get charged 340 HUNDRED DOLLARS! And you can't refund it cause that really cheap deal you got defaulted to a PLUS subscriptions that apparently is UNREFUNDABLE.I've seen people succeed by contacting their bank, cause this company deservedly has a terrible reputation, but most people struggle and have to take it on the chin.AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, YOU CAN'T REMOVE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD UNLESS YOU'RE AT THE CHECKOUT AND BUYING SOMETHING.This company is making hundreds of thousands of dollars by SCAMMING people with their malicious design. I hope they are exposed soon.
