Avoid!

Came here to see if anyone else has been scammed by Domestika and it turns out I’m not alone. They sneakily added a years subscription to my last order in April 2024 which turned out to be over ?100. I complained to domestika and they just ignored my emails, there was no other way to get hold of them. I tried to get my money back through PayPal but that didn’t work either. Woke up this morning and to another ?100+ being taken from my account, turns out they added automatic renewal to my subscription that I never agreed to. They never emailed me to warn me that the subscription was going to be renewed either, they just took the money. Submitted another complaint to PayPal, hopefully I’ll get my money back this time.

I like it

I like it. I knew which courses I wanted and chose plus account. I had a technical issue but they did help me out eventually. I like the platform and the video’s are well made. I recommend it! ??

Misleading Subscription — Be Careful with Domestika

I purchased a single course on Domestika at a discounted price and was never clearly informed that I was being signed up for an annual Domestika Plus subscription. There was no opt-in box, no clear notice —just a hidden subscription that appeared as a surprise charge later.When I contacted customer service, they refused to refund me, saying it's part of their policy. That’s unacceptable.Domestika uses deceptive practices to lock people into subscriptions they never intended to purchase. It feels like a scam, and I’ve reported the charge through PayPal.Avoid this platform unless you're ready to fight for your money. What looks like a good deal is actually a trap.

Greetings, I see I'm not the only one, I think it's wrong to withdraw money without notice. 08.05.2025. I paid for the trial version, after that on 31.05. I received an email that I only found in the bin today. Today, June 21. $179 was taken from my bank account. Of course you can't get in touch with their support because there is no answer. I don't think it's right for you to do that at this moment, I wouldn't take that subscription because I don't have time for the course at the moment, and I need the money for other things. I think it would be humane to return my money because there was a misunderstanding, without any notification or warning. I hope you will answer me so that we can continue communication. Thank you

Great course

Great course! The explanations were clear and practical, and I learned a lot about structure, shading, and expression in graphite portraits. As an art student, this really helped me improve my drawing skills. Highly recommended!

scammed me out of my money

scammed me out of my money. Debited the fee for a course then told me the payment was invalid. No response from the customer careEdit: I got my money back so upgrading my rating to a 3 star. However I still cannot purchase any course.

Outdated style of content and a SCAM

Outdated style of content, very underwhelming content. They didnt notify me when they renewed my subscription. They didn't refund me and it auto subscribed and now I'm stuck for a year. Terrible,you're better off using other platforms like Masterclass

I was scammed too

I was scammed too. I was charged more than €300 for a yearly subscription without realizing it. The courses are extremely basic, and I honestly didn’t learn anything useful. Getting a refund is impossible. Please be careful, I strongly recommend using free resources like YouTube instead.
