The company clearly makes money by selling a course (any course actually) for 1.99 (the courses seem to be a bargain with a great discount any time you access thr site) and then charging your credit card 199 € a month later. Probably during the checkout process for the 1.99 you click on terms and conditions that are hidden somewhere in their website and in small letters it says that by purchasing this “deal” you agree to an annual subscription… I was fortunate enough to make this purchase with Revolut that automatically declined the transaction as suspicious- probably because this merchant has been flagged multiple times as a scammer. By the way the courses are horrible, not even worth 1.99. Beware.
Terrible!!! No stars to Domestika !!! I purchased a short course and then found that I was suddenly charged for Domestika Plus subscription (311.24EUR) which I did not wanted to take. A lot of advertising and main information in small letters in the end of the text.
I woke up to see I was charged 300 euros on my account for annual subscription.I made an account to buy a course for my friend as a birthday gift.Upon looking at "Orders and course management" I found out that i have bought a course i didnt sign up fo and that has automatically had annual subscription.I tried to email them, but no response for any resolution.Dont go to Domestika!
THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!They sell courses and without telling you subscribe you to their "free trial" with the data you have given. One month later they will charge you. Be aware! EDIT: In the Web page they link in the reply you will find: they don't do refunds.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT purchase a course with Domestika. You will be automatically signed up for a (fantastically expensive) Domestika Plus membership which you won't be able to cancel as it will not show up on your dashboard and you are not given any notification that monies will be taken from your account. I have found it impossible to cancel the so-called 'membership', or be reimbursed. And there were no notifications via email or on my Facebook page that this was going to happen.
On April 3rd, 2025, I purchased a course from Domestika for $0.99 USD. I was likely enrolled in a trial of Domestika Plus without being clearly informed or consenting to it. I only became aware of this when I saw a charge of $329.00 USD on my credit card on May 4th, 2025.I was unwillingly upgraded to an annual subscription. Domestika’s refund policy appears to be limited to just three Latin American countries, and there is no accessible customer support email to resolve the issue. Their system displays a warning message saying refunds will not be issued, which feels like a direct ultimatum.This practice is misleading and unfair, and I am seeking a full refund for this unauthorized transaction.
Absolute scam of a website. I bought a 99 *CENT* course. You read that right: 99 cents! I woke up and was charged $329 with no way to get a refund. They'll let me cancel my account and take away all access that I don't want anyways, but they won't refund my money.AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS!
