I was charged $354.68 USD after a Domestika Plus free trial I didn’t knowingly sign up for. The charge was taken from my PayPal account without any clear warning, and I only discovered it after the fact. I hadn’t used any of the courses or services — not even the one I initially signed up for — and I contacted Domestika immediately to ask for a refund.They replied once with a generic message and then completely stopped responding to my follow-ups.I’m a single parent going through financial hardship, and this charge has put real strain on me. I’m disappointed by how dismissive the customer service has been, especially since I hadn’t used any part of the subscription. I’ve since filed complaints with both PayPal and the ACCC.Please be very careful with their trial system — and double-check if you’re logged in and an auto-renewal is active, especially if a child or someone else might have clicked through by accident. I wouldn’t recommend using Domestika unless they change their refund and communication policies.
