I regret choosing Vivint for my home…

I regret choosing Vivint for my home security. The sales process felt pushy, and once I signed the contract, the service and support went downhill fast. The equipment has been unreliable, and I’ve experienced multiple false alarms and connection issues. I want them to come get their equipment. Customer service has been frustrating — long wait times, inconsistent answers, and little accountability. Trying to cancel or make changes to the contract has been an even bigger hassle, with hidden fees and inflexible terms.For a company that promotes peace of mind, Vivint has caused more stress than security. I would not recommend them to others.

Overall a great product

Overall a great product. I just hate in the app it takes a long time to load. When someone is at the door and I click on view it takes a minute to pop up

Expensive and unreliable

Vivint home security proved to be a frustrating and disappointing experience. The installer failed to check for blind spots, leaving significant vulnerabilities in coverage, and carelessly left boxes scattered throughout my home, creating a mess rather than a professional setup. Despite the system’s high cost, the quality did not match the price; the two-way speaker was non-functional, and the app was glitchy with many features not working properly. When I reported these issues, Vivint wanted to charge an additional $99 just to send a technician out, which felt like an unfair extra expense on top of an already expensive system. Ultimately, the system did not provide the peace of mind or safety I expected, leading me to have it completely removed from my home.

Easy & Affordable

It was quick, easy & affordable. The salesperson was knowledgeable and very nice and I didn’t feel as if I was being pushed into anything. He came by the next day to make certain I was satisfied with the installment
