Review Time
It has been ten years since I had my security system updated. I discovered that the previous security company did not want to work with me on certain updates that I felt were needed for my property, plus, they hire subcontractors to do the installation of new equipment which comes with a higher price tag. It was time to move onto another company that I hope proves to be more efficient as they have advertised.
Was guaranteed no hidden fees, random withdrawal transactions would happen. 2 weeks in and 609.00$ got withdrawn from my account on 7-5-2025. Called the sales man. Said he would fix it. I called myself to vivint. Was promised my money before 3 days and still nothing 4 days later. Equipment goes offline often. Having to reboot the system every time it does. The tech installed the backyard c'?mara behind the porch light obstructing the view of the c'?mara. Highly disappointed.
The day after my system was installed I noticed the display said my side door was open when it was not open. The technician was easy to contact and came back to fix this. Then the next day I attempted to set my alarm and head out for work. When I opened my front door to leave my alarm immediately went off/alarmed. So I turned it off immediately. I used the app to set my alarm after I left my home. I called the technical support number and the person I talked to was able to figure it out fairly quickly so that my system works perfectly now.
