Vivint home security proved to be a frustrating and disappointing experience. The installer failed to check for blind spots, leaving significant vulnerabilities in coverage, and carelessly left boxes scattered throughout my home, creating a mess rather than a professional setup. Despite the system’s high cost, the quality did not match the price; the two-way speaker was non-functional, and the app was glitchy with many features not working properly. When I reported these issues, Vivint wanted to charge an additional $99 just to send a technician out, which felt like an unfair extra expense on top of an already expensive system. Ultimately, the system did not provide the peace of mind or safety I expected, leading me to have it completely removed from my home.
